315 35 20 on the rear in that pic, currently on 295 35 20 and they may fit more proper the 315 had a little bit of bulge. Rear wheel is 20x10 pp1 replicas. Front in that pic is the stock pp1 255/40/19's but I put the 275 40 19 pp1 rears on the front with a 1 inch spacer now (they wouldnt fit with a 5mm due to hitting the struts , but the 1 inch makes it flush anyway). Looks great imo. Both front and rear are flush with fender now.

Yeah, a 315 is a touch wide for an 11" wheel and definitely a good bit big for a 10", and that tire is also getting a little tall.

FWIW, if you look at the front-to-rear ratio of the PP tires (255/40, 275/40), a 285/35 matched with a 305/35 keeps that ratio, and isn't such a rubber band of a tire for dealing with real world road conditions.

20" look great !!! I run 20 x 10 with a 275 on all four corners. Looks great and handles very good. Go for it no worries!!

Well the fronts in that picture are 19's so the 295 35 20s and 275 40 19's are pretty close, 28.1 and 27.7 inches. I like having the rear taller than the front, gives it a bit of rake. 28" is a good height tire for stock ride height car, fills the wheels out pretty well.

Oh yeah, the 19/20 combo is super cool, I remember when I got my '99 Vette and it had different diameter wheels and at the time that was CRAZY .... !

Those do look good. 20" with a smaller barrel like those F14s or the Roush 20" hide the massiveness. Big barrels make the brakes look tiny and car look like a donk.

How does one wheel have a smaller barrel? Are you talking about the design of the face hiding the small brakes more?

Not the face. The second step down, and the portion of the cylinder that gets closest to the caliper, is the barrel. Designs that have a smaller than 20" barrel like this, IMO look much, much better unless there are even huger brakes to match (ala GT500).

I’m the OP and after starting this thread, I ended up with 20’s...lol. 19’s look too small in the rear.
