Would a 315 in back work without issues?
315 35 20 fits on the back with no issues if you have the right wheel design and stock ride height. Maybe larger but I havent tried, thats about as tall of a tire as I would want to go though.

Thank you. I really like the CS-3 and planning on a 315/35/20 in the back with a 275/35/20 front. Also planning on installing the Steeda progressive springs which will drop it 1" in the back.

The earlier pic of mine in this thread are 20x11's in the back, +50 offset, lowered on an Eibach pro-kit (roughly 3/4"-1" lowered in back) with 315/35's. Never had an issue.

I think they may rub with a 1 inch drop on the back, so youd want to go with a shorter tire. I had problems with a 1 inch drop and 315 35 20s on my lowered 2011, had to put the stock springs back on the rear since they were rubbing bad on bumps.

That was a s197 though and the poster above me had it work on the s550 I guess.

Should work fine. I almost went 315 rears. I'm lowered inch and half in the front and a inch in the rear. 20x11 rears and 20x9.5 fronts not sure on the offsets off the top of my head.

Tire sizes?
315 35 20 on the rear in that pic, currently on 295 35 20 and they may fit more proper the 315 had a little bit of bulge. Rear wheel is 20x10 pp1 replicas. Front in that pic is the stock pp1 255/40/19's but I put the 275 40 19 pp1 rears on the front with a 1 inch spacer now (they wouldnt fit with a 5mm due to hitting the struts , but the 1 inch makes it flush anyway). Looks great imo. Both front and rear are flush with fender now.
