we've tried both, and prefer the green, we used a few rpms, but actually have seen some snapping issues with them

So I decided to try the RPM again. The only way to get clearance from the tensioner is to set it at about 45% of of travel. No way you could hit the 20-30% that's recommended. I'm a little concerned about this tiny gap I have now.

Running the rpm on the KB and it works great. When I do beat the snot out of the car no slippage. The green belt made noise after 500 miles for me.

Are you running the 106.6 or a longer belt?

Just chiming in for data sake. My car just hit 14k miles, and whipple gen3 about 6k miles. I have snapped 4 rpm belts, 3.0 upper 20 percent od lower.

Numerous calls and emails to whipple im not sure if have answers. Just ordered gates green belt. Crossing my fingers.
