Thanks for the input terrywe've tried both, and prefer the green, we used a few rpms, but actually have seen some snapping issues with them
Are you running the 106.6 or a longer belt?So I decided to try the RPM again. The only way to get clearance from the tensioner is to set it at about 45% of of travel. No way you could hit the 20-30% that's recommended. I'm a little concerned about this tiny gap I have now.
I have had a RPM on now for about 10k miles and have not snapped or had slip with my Whipple and a 3.625

Just chiming in for data sake. My car just hit 14k miles, and whipple gen3 about 6k miles. I have snapped 4 rpm belts, 3.0 upper 20 percent od lower.
Numerous calls and emails to whipple im not sure if have answers. Just ordered gates green belt. Crossing my fingers.
Where are you guys getting the RPM belts? I can’t find one anywhere for my procharger... K080645RPMGates RPM here on my Procharger stg2. Tension set per PC manual. No issues whatsoever. Not one hint of belt dust.
