Heck, on my very first outing I was following a 650-HP CTS-V through the kink at Mid Ohio. He dropped a wheel inside and sprayed me with dirt and gravel, one piece of which cut right through the PPF on my hood (and left a tiny ding). The PPF was about 2 weeks old. I can warranty the PPF, but stuff's gonna happen if you go play. I'd rather drive the car than have it languish in the garage.

Oh and if you guys have the same leather thing happening at the end of the video, I treated my '11 GT with leather treatment from Mother's if I remember right. It helped a lot to keep the leather looking good and fresh. Especially if you have a lot of temperature swings and dryness such as in winter.
