Can anyone help me with emissions and getting passed.

I know someone has to have a long tube setup And solved this problem.

I have hi flo cats and long tubes on my 2015 GT and a magnaflow catback but I have the light due to sensors. I'm not passing emissions any where due to that and my tuner says pay my arm and leg on parts or register it somewhere else but that doesn't seem to be an option.

Help me out here, please.

Did you not understand your car wouldn't pass emissions when you did all that? What did you think you were going to do to pass emissions?

Anyways, you'll have to put the exhaust back to stock, the tune back to stock, and then drive it around for a few days, before it will pass emissions.

I was told due to hi fo cats I would be legal after the intake and full exhaust

I'll go ahead and ask:

What codes are you getting?

High flow cats that come with headers do nothing for emissions. The only exceptions are Kook's Green cats which even then can also fail emissions.

So you're riding around with a CEL? You didn't bother to get the tuner to turn it off?

You have a few options:

You might need spacers on your rear O2's if you're getting a check engine light. The spacers are also no guarantee on no CEL either. Also, we'll need to know what code it is (I'm betting it's P0420). I'm having the opposite problem with my O2's not coming up to ready status and I think I need spacers to get that to happen. Driven a few thousand miles now on headers and still can't get the O2's to come off red status. I have two tunes, one with disabled O2 sensors and one with enabled O2 sensors. Even with the enabled O2 sensors one, I cannot get a check engine light to happen with my catted headers or the O2 sensors to come to ready status. Lund double checked my tune file and they are definitely turned on. The next step I'm going to do is check my wiring and also possibly try some spacers.

You can flash back a stock tune and get inspected as long as your intake allows a stock MAF curve, then flash back on your normal tune. I've done this in the past. This will require you to drive around a bit to activate all the sensors. The check engine light will come back on eventually and especially if you cruise at one speed on the highway. City driving a lot of the times will not trigger it. Clear the code with Torque or another code reader.

Another option is finding that really shady friend or person that will pass you regardless. Beers are a good gift for this.

Sensors but I got em turned on again from tuner
O.k......help us out here.....again. Aren't there 4 oxygen sensors on the stock exhaust? Does your exhaust system use all the OEM O2 sensors? Or does it delete some of them?

You're saying the tuner "turned them on again", so that kind of sounds like they're there, but maybe some were shut off, and then they were turned back on by the tuner.

If that's all correct, when/how long ago were the sensors "turned back on"?

The tuner turned me back on meaning I had them tuned off. Then when I went to a shop they ran my codes and some were still failing WITH several several miles put on after the change.

Thanks a lot man. Yeah I seem to have only the option to look for a shady person or see if the green cars will pass me with stainless works but the 1200 isn't east for me to do if it's 50/50
