All of this discussion makes me wonder why a leak developed in mine after just 2,300 miles. Just curiosity, since it's being fixed under warranty.
Mine is 2019 with only 11,000 miles but like a lot have comment is speculation that mine have the same thing but for sure will update when the Dealer let me know the real cause for the benefit of others. For my bad i will have to wait until June 28 as that is the date of the appointment.

Without knowing what exactly is wrong it's all speculation.
Maybe something got pinched on assembly and wore a hole.
Or something wasn't on tight enough broke.
Or a defective part.
Or maybe a rodent chewed a hole. They've been known to destroy a lot of automotive parts.
A few years back, Honda I think, used something in the wiring insulation that mice/rats absolutely loved. Caused a lot of problems for vehicles that sat outside...
In my experience over the course of 44 years, I've found that the wire insulation damage caused by rodents affected mostly GM vehicles back in the 90's era. I guess they used something in the insulation that attracted them. I also found rubber hoses in the engine compartment with similar gnawing damage causing vacuum leaks but these seemed to be found among various manufacturers, not just GM. I forgot which brand it was that had wire insulation that just literally would fall apart when you touched them but this was on a vehicle that was over 10 years old.

Freaking part didn't come in yesterday, so now it's planned for Monday. Been driving a 2023 Camry and needless to say, I miss my Mustang.

Sorry to hear that.

To update in my case i went to the Dealer today and they checked the car and the diagnostic is that what i have bad is the Hose but they have to order it so i remained with the June 28 appointment but as they gave me the Part Number i will try to find it and see if it can be installed by myself depending where it is located.

Looking fast it seems an easy installation. Here is the Part Number: https://ford.oempartsonline.com/oem-parts/ford-hose-fuel-vapour-jr3z9g297a

What's most amazing to me is that you have to wait until June 28 for an appointment. But, good luck with your install, if you go that route.

Well i am a little nervous so i already ordered the part from TASCA and i am going to install it myself.

The Dealer put in the estimate a total of $270.00 and the part cost me $60.00. So if everything goes fine i have something extra in my pocket. (Jajajajajaj).

A little update in order to put my nerves in place (Jajajaja).

After the Dealer checked the car on Saturday and made the diagnostic of the hose i went out with the Check Engine light on. Saturday and Sunday light remained on.

To my surprise on Monday and today no Check Engine light on. What i noticed is that the gas tank is 1/4 full. I will wait until tomorrow to see if it remains Off and will fill the tank to see if that triggers the Check Engine light again.

Maybe is coincidence but will see. Just wanted to share what is happening with my experience so far. Part is on the way so will see what will happen.

Finally got mine back, cost was $962 (obviously covered by warranty). A lot of money for what seems like a simple fix, but that's their issue.

I had a 2023 Toyota Camry as my loaner during the period. Didn't drive it that much but enough to make me really miss the Mustang. And it took me a few miles to adjust to the Mustang when I was driving it home. Man, it's fun to drive the Mustang after driving a wimpy car, although I had to adjust to the braking and throttle (obviously).

Out of curiosity do you "top up" the tank when refueling? You know, when the pump automatically shuts off do you add a bit more fuel?

To be honest, sometimes i go over if the remaining balance paid is little.

Today still no Check Engine light on so i went to the Gas station and filled below the top so no overfill neither close to full tank. Let's see if this have any correlation on the Check Engine.

in the meantime hoping the part doesn't arrive yet (Jajajajajajaja).

I looked pretty closely at the paperwork, I didn't see anything else on there.

Yeah, apparently "topping off" is a bad thing to do. I learned not to top off with my first Infiniti, which could have issues with it as well.
