I live in Pennsylvania, I have a 2018 Mustang GT Convertible. If I add an H-Pipe and delete the resonators will I pass the emissions test of the yearly state inspection?

Thank you,

BF

You'd have to read your state laws on altering the exhaust to be sure.
But, generally, as long as you're after the catalytic converters, your emissions results are not affected.
That said, some States use the inspection process to check for other mechanical things - see my first sentence.

You’ll be fine. Just don’t touch the cats.

Long as the check engine light is off you can can get stickers in Philly, look for a shop where the sign outside is all in Chinese but has the PenDOT inspection sign up. I got some real sketchy shit passed without an issue

As stated above, as long as there is no CEL illuminated, you will be fine. Fortunately, you live in PA and not CA.

In the "old days" they used to stick an exhaust probe up your tailpipe to check the emission gases but since OBDII, most just look if your MIL (check engine light) is off and then they plug into the port to see if all the monitors have bee run and completed. If so, you're good to go. In most cases, the monitor flags will all be "completed" unless you erased the PCM memory with a scanner or disconnecting the battery; then all the monitors will set to incomplete and you have to do a drive cycle to run them all (like O2 sensors, O2 heaters, catalyst, evap system, etc.).

To add to that a little bit, some states allow some monitors to not be completed. For example, in Georgia, we're allowed 3 to not be completed.
If you need all to be complete then you will have to run a drive cycle. Drive cycles require the vehicle be driven in a specific maner, sequence and time frame. They can be specific to the makes and models so check what your car requires before setting out.

Yes. Just need the CATs and no CEL lights. You could do headers, as long as it's not catless.
