Calling all those that have this installed for some time ... any regrets? Anyone taken it back off?
So far I'm happy. Still waiting on stage 2 of my testing before I can say weather i'll keep it or not. If I was gong to switch I would go with a 18' mani.

I’m so close to buying the truck intake but I’m really wanting to see a dyno sheet. I don’t want the power to completely die at 6k.

I just searched the thread and found your numbers. Damn impressive. I think porting and E85 will carry the manifold past 7k. Our best tracks around us are 1/8th mile so I think the truck manifold would be perfect.

Well, I did it.... just bought a new take off 2017 F-150 Intake manifold for $79 shipped. When I get it, I’m gonna do some porting. If I can keep that fat torque and HP curve in the mid range and at least get the manifold to ull to 7k, it will be the best of both worlds.

See I’m curious if a true tune meant for this can get it to run good until at least 6800-7k.

I think it’s totally possible.

still have mine on and no complaints. seems to pull to about 7k just fine. i only run on the street right now so its rare im up that high in the rpm range but it seems to be just fine up there. honestly there has not been any noticeable loss up top.

Thanks all. Mine is hopefully going on this weekend but not 100% sure as I'll be busy with a few other mods and things around the house.

I call it as I see it so look for my honest opinion when the time comes.

I have chimed in already on this issue in this thread, but let me do so again.

This is a great modification for a STREET car. You know, the cars that are rarely if ever driven on any kind of a racetrack.

I combined the F-150 manifold with my LUND FF tune, and the mid-range pull when passing other peeps (old people at the wheel/Prius drivers/semi-big rigs) is fantastic!

The kick in the back upon acceleration, and when the transmission (A6 in my case) up-shifts to the next gear is a riot!

I sold my 2018 manifold/PNP & "Y" harnesses/big injectors because I am more than happy with my lowly, cheap-ass, trailer-camp, white-trash, tornado-bait, F-150 manifold. It's never coming off the engine in my 2016 GT.

Got my 2017 F-150 intake today. It’s brand new. Hard to believe I got it for $79 shipped.
