Actually yesterday, some LED under hood lighting.

That looks actually quite useful for things other than show.

How does it do in reducing the iats though? Have you noticed any differences driving it? Details man :D
My 2016 GT is not my Daily (gotta Chevy Cruze for that), and it has been raining here almost every day, so I haven't driven it yet.

Received and installed the door handle cups, tried using them as the stash for my keys, wallet or phone. Not as practical as I thought they might be so removed them. Now stashed in my office “Mustang” drawer. Only $9.99 on Amazon so not worth shipping back.

@$160 for brand new Ford upper and lower intake manifold. I had them shipped to Gigs Performance (who I bought the throttle body from) and he did the porting on both for $250 including return shipping. Can't recommend him enough. He noticed a bit of core shift on the brand new Ford lower I'd bought and shipped to him. Said he wasn't comfortable with that and he bought a new OEM replacement - w/o charging me a dime extra. That's customer service in my opinion.

You could likely sell you cores for $150 or so (that's what most places tend to charge for cores - I personally wanted brand new parts - if I ever go back to stock I'll put the OEM manifolds back on).

I'm more about power in the mid range, under the HP peak - but from everything I've seen, it's likely worth close to 20HP at peak. Having the ported OEM throttle body in conjunction and sending logs into MPT (from the 1/4 mile track) for adjustments to tune - not sure what I'll actually see.

I've already had the 93 PRX tune modified once from a 1/4 mile run I data logged. Add to that the MT ET Street R bias tires I now have (wheel hop is what kills drive train parts - nature of the beast with a stick shift on these cars) I'm hoping to see the 12's after all is said and done.

That's it for power mods for me at this point. The car is almost where I want it to me - to suit me - as it's my daily driver and will continue to be.

I may end up getting the car dyno tuned if I can find the time with the right tuner - ideally I want it tuned like my last car. Tuned on 91 Octane for daily driving - tweaking for power gains in the low and mid ranges where I drive it everyday, then another tune for the track.

clanging noise i've had for a while got really bad yesterday when i hit a bump. took off the rear shocks this morning to find the rear passenger side mount/bushing had blown apart. that allowed the shock to be able to rotate and the shock itself backed out quite a bit. have some steeda billet mounts on their way for tomorrow. hopefully that is it and the shock itself is fine.

Very common issue, especially with aftermarket coilovers. I had the same ones (BC-BR coilovers) on my 16 GT and had the same clunk. I got tired of dealing with it and just order all new mounts/bolts and everything and put springs on the PP shock/struts a little before I got rid of the car.

What's the part # for the lower? I can find the upper easily, it's FR3Z-9424-F but can't find the lower for some reason.

CL3Z-9424-D

And a heads up - if you are planning on getting Gigs Performance to do the porting, order them from Jim Vreeland Ford. They are close to Gig's shop and with the reduced shipping, you end up saving money and they get to him pretty quick.

Have a write up about this in my build thread. The Steeda mounts actually lower the shock some and you can't air out anywhere near as far. Its like midway down in my thread on the first page. Read it here.
Super unfortunate and I already had my bump stops removed. I will be ordering a set of Vikings to replace the Airlift ones. The Vikings have the dampening adjustment on the shock body at the bottom of it instead of having it on the shaft at the top like the Airlift ones do.

Had Steeda install their bumpsteer kit, and while I was there got the K-Brace and STB... man-ohhh-man I love this car now!

I know but its gotta be done. Looking at your current pics lowered it looks plenty low. Are you keeping the Vorsteiner wheels when you sell the car? Right now with the stock PP wheels and 20mm spacers they may actually be my limiting factor in airing out. Might have to play with the camber a bit once I mount the billet shock mounts.

Well yesterday, I took the car auto-xing and tested out the new suspension. I experimented with dampener settings but need more seat time to really get it sorted out.

Looks like a lot of fun... I have been thinking about doing Auto X ....BUT.. how in the heck do you know where to go and which cones to avoid and which one's to go through? I was trying to guess the path you were taking and was wrong several times.. Do they map it out for you or are there specific colors of cones/layout that tell you what direction to head?
