Goddamn quads look Soo good. I keep telling myself that I don't want them but it's not working.

Did you install the quads in the stock rear bumper???

I made a cover for the GT350 CAI in my 2016 GT.

I did this in an attempt to lower Intake Air Temps when driving at low speeds or at idle. When driving my car at or near highway speed, the IAT hovers about 5-7 degrees above ambient temps. But when idling, the IAT soars!!

I wanted to seal the air box somewhat, but I also like the look of the open element air box. We'll see if this does the trick without restricting airflow??

I bought a sheet of clear Lexan/Plexi-Glass at Home Depot. Then I made a cardboard template and did several trial fittings before finalising the shape of the template. Then I cut the plex-glass with my Dremel tool and a fiber cutoff wheel, and then peeled the protective cover off the plexi-glass.

The GT350 CAI air box has a rubber seal (as you can see) that accepts the plex-glass cover nicely, thus there is no need for any other way of securing the clear cover to the air box.

I like it.
Thank you! I got the red trims from eBay lol. Got it for about $23 from what I can remember and searched for the following terms "Ford Mustang 2015 Air Vent Trim Aluminum". Just did a search saw silver, blue, and purple available.

Washed it cos the weather was great. (Washed my partner's Trooper too ... not as sore as I thought I'd be today - those damn mitts get heavy!) I also have ab out a car payment's worth of detailing stuff on the way, so next weekend I can do it all over again and apply a sealant.

Also found my first tiny little chip. :-(

Took mine out for the first time to run an errand, noticed my first bird dropping :( & rained about 1/2 way out. Brought it home, rinsed it off, blew it dry with a leaf blower (wanna research best product to use for washing before I wash it for the first time), took off the front plate bracket, and ordered a pair of bumper plugs.

I already spent part of the first evening programming stuff on the Sync3 and programmed the garage door opener, all while listening to the stereo. Felt like I was 16 again (heh - if I'd been making LOTS more money at 16, that is...)
