I saw my wife's fingernail scratches on the glossy black trunk panel and bjstang's solution shortly thereafter. It's easy to fish a bolt through the large bumper stop hole into the 1/4" retainer hole.

Installed Steeda clutch spring today. Took 30 seconds and wow, huge improvement.

Cleaned it up a bit.
Waiting on some decent weather to install my GT brake upgrade, OEM fog lights, and build a custom grille out of the GT upper grille I got a month or more ago....

Test and tune next Saturday if weather cooperates. Yesterday's got cancelled...

finally got my long tubes on. did it by myself on jack stands. minus some minor hang ups that took many hours of my time i completed it in about 20 hours haha but so worth the time. not as loud as i was worried it was going to be except when you really get on it and wow i thought it was quick before.

Picked up my car from tinting yesterday...got 30% carbon-ceramic huper optik all the way around with Rayno Air 7090 on the whole windshield. Expensive, but looks pretty good, the windshield is a little blue when looking out, depending on the lighting conditions, but a small price to pay for the benefits. 30% is a little brighter than I used to get (okay, a lot brighter, my other cars are/were 15%) but being above the legal limit is nice insurance and I guess it looks a little more classy not having blacked out windows. I'll add a pic after work.

When doing the windshield, the installer must have had to put weight on the dash to support himself at some point, and now the plastic vented piece above the center AC gauges rattles like a 30 year old car. Pushing it down seems to temporarily fix it...does anyone know how to take that piece off without breaking anything? Have some 1mm felt tape on the way to fix that shit before it drives me mad.

If you remove the vent trim it can come off pretty easy. Feels like you might be snapping it off, but it is just clipped in.

Got my tires mounted on my new wheels last week. Mounted the wheels on the car this weekend. Finally got around to picking the DSLR up and shooting a couple decent photos. (Yes it is a 5.0, the second photo has the badge removed. I just got that fender repainted and didnt stick the badge on yet)
