That sounds like a plausible scenario.still a long ways out. should be able to gather a couple hundred DCTs for a '19 MY short run for executives.

And here I wait. I'm in no hurry. Deal made and 2 R's in the garage. Ford: Take your time an do this rightThe rampant speculation still amazes me. Someone says one thing and everyone loses their minds! I can't wait to read the dissappointed threads after this is revealed and a bunch of you don't even want to buy the car anymore because it's only lower 700's. There is more to performance than the peak HP rating. Maybe that's all that matters to some of you. But why not wait to see how the whole package actually performs?
Should put it around 750hp......As mentioned I've heard that the car will make just over the 700rwhp mark. That would put the engine hp rating higher. Just not sure what calculation is accurate to get the number everyone wants.
.....if they would only build it for the street......:frusty:Ford literally doesn't care about the Demon. They point their finger to the Cobra Jet and say, "look, this is faster".
The market for something like that is tiny for the investment. Also Ford's legal team probably laughed. Have you seen the Demon contract/disclaimer owners have to sign?.....if they would only build it for the street......:frusty:
The demon is a one trick pony that requires you a to idle if load the track mode, drag slicks, and high octane fuel to run 10s. It can't turn worth a crap. The GT500 has been rumored to be testing with a 911 GT3.:tsk::rant:Why even come out with a motor with less hp than the demon?makes no sense.
Agree completely, and no reason for Ford to use the Demon for any comparative model. The demon is a one trick pony that requires you a to idle if load the track mode, drag slicks, and high octane fuel to run 10s. It can't turn worth a crap. The GT500 has been rumored to be testing with a 911 GT3.
Easy, bragging rights. If the car is rear wheel drive and has normal Mustang sized rear tires, is there a real performance or street driving enjoyment difference between 700 hp and 800 hp? Seems like just bragging rights at that point, unless you are planning drag strip only.
Please explain this to me. I really don't understand those that are worried it will only have low 700s in HP.
Yep!.....and I have a pen.The market for something like that is tiny for the investment. Also Ford's legal team probably laughed. Have you seen the Demon contract/disclaimer owners have to sign?
Buy the Demon. This isn't the Ford you're looking for.Yep!.....and I have a pen.
