So many mods in this thread would destroy his chance of being competitive in Autox by moving him to a very tough classes.

A set of shocks and struts...

If you're going to autocross, you'll need to figure out what class you're going to run. F-street is what you're in stock, but in that class you can only do shocks & struts, and tires. (plus a couple other things, but it's all minor)

No tune, no lowering springs, no cradle kits, etc...
This x100.

All other mods suggested in this thread are going to put OP in the class where isn't going to be remotely close to have any chance of placing reasonably.

Well, for $199.95, I highly suggest our CB005 Cradle Bushing Lockout Kit. ;)

This kit removes cradle deflection, centers the cradle better than OEM mounting and adds a jacking point to the rear.

This kit also helps reduce wheel hop, benefits braking, improves corner entrance / mid corner / and corner exit tremendously.

My very first suspension mod, and currently the only suspension mod to my 2016 GT PP is this CB005 Kit.
Definitely a vote for this one from me.

Unless he's like me, where I enjoy competing and beating folks but enjoy driving my car more. The improvement in handling is definitely worth it, even if you sacrifice your PAX index a bit, particularly if it's a DD.

GT350 or an 'R' steering wheel. About $350.

Driver Mod?
You can go to a racing school for a day.
I was going to say MGW shifter, but I agree that a day at the track is a better idea.

I bought a few things this season for under $500.

Steeda CAI = $329
BMR 089/082 springs = $180
Weathertech Mats = $100
BMR Cradle Lockout = $169
I believe you can also get the fixed Steeda struts/shocks for under $500

Yeah, that's kind of rough. There's very limited work you can do and still stay in F-Street.

Of course, if OP is like me and approaches AutoX as a hobby and not as a competitive sport (because jesus fuck I'm slow compared to the "fast" guys) it matters a bit less what category you're in.

If you don't know what you are/aren't allowed suspension wise there is always little mods like hood struts, oil separators, spoiler, etc that you could do as well.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone! As far as an autocross class yet, I figured I would start off with stock and go from there. It is my DD so I do not plan on doing anything to void out my warranty for the time being. This thread has given me some ideas of things to send up to the boss for possible ordering!

I am also looking at some car care stuff from Adams and the Chemical guys too.
