The good thing is all the intakes perform very close to one another. The PMAS is not so dramatically better than the others that you should feel the need to ditch your old one. Your JLT is just fine.Ugh not mine! :frusty:
One thing that sucks about buying the s550 shortly after release and modding right away are the amount of options that have come since then. PMAS, nguauge, exhaust, ext ext
I know some of you folks have purchased multiple exhuast, cai, and even tuners, not me! I'm happy with my JLT, definnatly a nice looking CAI. Its probably not the best performing though.
Where's my insert :frusty:

This dyno test suggests otherwise. Pmas didn't do the dyno another shop did.The good thing is all the intakes perform very close to one another. The PMAS is not so dramatically better than the others that you should feel the need to ditch your old one. Your JLT is just fine.
You do see the part where they installed a TUNE REQUIRED intake on a stock tune for comparison (not even a transfer function loaded for the MAF)? Think that skews the results a bit? This dyno test suggests otherwise. Pmas didn't do the dyno another shop did.

Nope because they calibrated a MAF sensor for the JLT tube to use the stock tune and MAF transfer and also used their no tune required intake with their MAF for their tube. Why would it skew anything if a calibrated MAF was used? I can tell you their MAF transfer function for their MAF tube is perfect (I logged it and fuel trims are really close to 0 closer than stock was) I would suspect they could calibrate for your tube pretty easily. You do see the part where they installed a TUNE REQUIRED intake on a stock tune for comparison (not even a transfer function loaded for the MAF)? There's been ONE independent test of the PMAS, and it made 12-14 whp. Right in line with everyone elses.
This was also on a 2013 GT, our kit isn't the same on the '13 as it is on the 2015. Different tube, filter, heat shield.
So a competitor scaled a Maf sensor for our tube. Thanks Vinny!! PM sentThe inserts were started to be included about a year ago, feel free to PM me your info and I'll send you one. No reason to be mad
This is the only change to the kit since inception.
