  1. Sctx4 wont turn on after update

The tuner forced me to update. I did so over wifi, it updated tuner and firmware and then went blank. It's not being recognized by my PC or car. Red light flashes once when plugged in and that's it. Any ideas? Trying to get a hold of sct
  2. Metal clanking noise passenger rear?

Well I'll chime in on what my issue was... It was a tmps sensor in my wheel :headbang: After I went through the trouble of replacing a wheel bearing. Guess a piece broke off. Discount tire said it was common with the type of sensors I had. Something to check I guess
  3. Metal clanking noise passenger rear?

The clunk is when first initiating the movement of the wheels in one direction or the other. Not while in motion. I don't really notice this clunk when driving the car. It's out of warranty so i wont be taking it to dealer
  4. Metal clanking noise passenger rear?

Unfortunately my wheel bearing wasn't the issue. Replaced today and still getting noise. Upon further driving it doesnt seem to do it in reverse. When I turned the rear wheels manually while in the air, I get a clunk from from the rear end, and one from the front of driveshaft or transmission...
  5. Metal clanking noise passenger rear?

I'll probably end up doing the same... let me know if you get this done soon.
  6. Metal clanking noise passenger rear?

I hope it's not... I'm not getting any noises when shifting gears or anything. Just slow role from a stop and coming to a stop
  7. Metal clanking noise passenger rear?

Oh its getting annoying. I dont put many miles on my car, just pull it out occasionally, but it started with a lower pronounced click when going in reverse or slowly rolling occasionally. Now it's a metal clank noise. I checked axel nut and most of suspension nuts and everything seems torqued...
  8. Work from home. New Mustang a waste?

I'm working from home. Have my Mustang, a Ram, and the wifes car. I wasn't working from home when I bought my Mustang. It got the normal secondary car treatment. Always looking great, drive it a couple times a week or ever other week, what ever. Now that I work from home it hardly ever sees...
  9. Does imperfections in the road pull your car all over the place?

No issues with my nitto invos, but I am experiencing this with my truck. I purchased toyo proxes ii last tire change and good lord they pull in every which directions the road wants to take them. It's been a long few years with them.
  10. Should I play the lottery??

I never race, it does nothing for me and it's not worth it like the cop said. But I do enjoy spirited driving. Few years back I was out crusing on my harley when a light went green and I got on it. I always wore a helmet but this time was a full face. Well my dumb ass didn't see the cop right...
  11. What are your IAT

I'm within 2-3 degrees of ambient on freeway, with in 6 degrees around city, and it will keep climbing the longer I sit at a stop. Probably up to 40-50 degrees above ambient if I'm waiting around somewhere. JLT with a lot of air flow coming through the grilles
  12. To keep or not to keep

Id also be looking at a dedicated DD/Work truck and not a raptor for this purpose. Id also be looking at a zl1 and not the z06. If your're just sold on the corvette Id probably pickup a grand sport instead. Do your research.
  13. Stuck at a weird point with my vehicle.

Alright so I'm kind of in the same boat. I a bit bored with mine too. In fact its been sitting in the garaged covered for almost a month. But I just got back from vacation, doing other things that interest me and I'm not even thinking about it. My suggestion is... get another hobby. I'm always...
  14. How many have garage queens?

Feb 2015... about 4500 miles I honestly never intended for it to be a garage queen. I'm not sure how or why it became this way. I don't do a lot of driving anyway but I always take my truck when running around. I try to take the car out for pleasure but I spend a lot of time with the fam, so...
  15. Keeping her clean

I should have followed my advice as it's not worth getting into. I appreciate your response but not your tone. Regardless of your knowledge and experience you come off as a know it all to me and it's just a big turn off. Maybe I'm reading you wrong. Perhaps I came off the same way to you, who...
  16. Keeping her clean

There's no dirt being lifted by the foam. If anything it's being loosened and softened up. Any of your non bonded contaminants are being lifted by the initial first rinse. And I'm not suggesting leaving soap on the car to dry. I'm staying that I don't find it necessary to rise the foam off...
  17. Keeping her clean

Thanks to Patrick for putting in the time to write all that. Good info. It's probably not worth mentioning but I disagree with a few things. One, why are you rinsing the foam off the car before using the two bucket method, two why not recommend a high quality ph balanced soap with good...
  18. Keeping her clean

Ceramic pro and all of the 9h coatings are good for up to 24 month depending on conditions and maintenance. They require maintenance just like all the rest. Ceramic pro even makes a maintenance spray called sport for this purpose. You should be using it much more than once a year to extend the...
  19. Car Detail - Where and how much?

What level of detailing are you looking for? Paint correction? Simple polish/wax? Sealant? Car wash? I've used PerfectSheen in the past. He's a mobile detailer (owner/operator). He brings his own DI water and tent. http://perfectsheenpro.com/ I had him clay/polish/wax one of my cars, and used...
