I ended up not going with Opticoat Pro. The place I went to installs cquartz finest, Opticoat pro, and Modesta. They told me if you take care of your car save some money and go with the Cquartz finest. I spray a topper coat on after I wash my car and its amazing. He said Opticoat was the first to the market but their are better options to go with now of days. The Modesta was incredible but very expensive.

Good luck with your decision.

I'm still back and forth about the CAI and tune. I just purchased the BMR lowering springs and the resonator delete kit for my exhaust. Hopefully that doesn't mess with my smog check. I don't see how since its after the cats.
I live in Downey, Ca which is about 25 minutes from Redondo Beach. I'll gladly meet with you so you can feel the difference with the Lund Tune and JLT CAI. I also got the front of my car wrapped with a clear bra. That's something else you might be interested in.

learned my lesson. got stainless works headers and gibson catback and k&n filter with airraid tube. while tuning car was laying over at about 6000rpms tuner said its the stock air box even with k&n filter is starving the motor. only did 399rwhp and 378 tork. ordered my jlt today! tuner said it could be worth 20rwhp with his cmr tune. dont be like me and use the stock airbox! peace. oh yeah will let u all know the results after jlt.

Got the JLT and installed with SCT X4 (thanks Hypermotive) and Lund tune loaded (thanks Beefcake and Lund)! Only performance mods so far. With no exhaust I must say the JLT sounds amazing. To bad once the Corsa Extreme gets ordered and installed I'll never hear it again. Very noticeable difference from the tune and intake in the performance and responsiveness and today was very hot and humid. I will say this about the people talking about increased intake air temps. I watched them before and after the intake install. It does appear a few degrees hotter than the stock air box but like others mentioned I feel the added power from the increase in air flow would out way the few degrees of intake temp at stop go traffic. Also I must mention comparing these intake temps on both stock and JLT are noticeably higher than my 2013 with Airaid MIT and Roush airbox by an average of 5-10 degrees. Haven't done any highway with the JLT yet but with my 13 setup I was always 1-2 degrees colder than ambient. I have yet to see the 15 colder than ambient while cruising FWIW

Going to pull the trigger on this purchase soon. Would you guys recommend the oiled filter or dry filter? I heard the dry filter has better power gains but instead of cleaning it you just have to replace it every so often, is this correct? I have an oiled JLT intake on my 06 but hate cleaning it haha would much rather just spend the money and replace it as needed.

Also, would you guys recommend the filter wrap / prefilter?

If your OK with replacing a dry filter instead of cleaning it than it doesn't matter which one you get just replace either one instead of cleaning it. They appear to be the same price.

A new intake will definitely help up top but I think you are having other issues if the car is laying over at 6k.

Thanks for posting, I'd imagine your IAT or ambient air gauge isn't 100% accurate on the 2013. It'd be impossible to get colder then ambient air as that's what it's getting fed! :)

Different grills on the vehicles will effect your airflow too, I'd recommend opening up the few honeycomb on the stock 2015 Grill that are blocked off. With our Lethal performance grill delete we see 3-4 over ambient at speed.

If you don't want to clean it, I'd take advantage of the dry filter. The prefilters will help extend filter life as they'll take the brunt of the punishment. We have them now in blue or black.

Yeah I had a CDC upper in my 13 and I'm sure it had a lot to do with it. As for the reason the temps were under ambient I have no clue. Guess maybe something could have been broken. But seemed to be accurate any other time. It was only ever 1-2 degrees colder on the highway about 70-80 mph.

Is there any performance difference between the dry and oiled filters?

well only did 401 whp and 375 tork so i lost tork and gained less than 2 horsepower. tuner said the diablo jlt 93 can tune was way off with the headers. iats are up with the jlt also. not worth the money! guess it could be the tuner but im not gonna spend another 400 plus to find out.
