JLT all day. I love the fit and finish and being 1 piece design makes it look much nicer than the Steeda unit.

Looks good, Niz.

Ugh not mine! :frusty:

One thing that sucks about buying the s550 shortly after release and modding right away are the amount of options that have come since then. PMAS, nguauge, exhaust, ext ext

I know some of you folks have purchased multiple exhuast, cai, and even tuners, not me! I'm happy with my JLT, definnatly a nice looking CAI. Its probably not the best performing though.

Where's my insert :frusty:
The good thing is all the intakes perform very close to one another. The PMAS is not so dramatically better than the others that you should feel the need to ditch your old one. Your JLT is just fine.

The inserts were started to be included about a year ago, feel free to PM me your info and I'll send you one. No reason to be mad :)

This is the only change to the kit since inception.

This dyno test suggests otherwise. Pmas didn't do the dyno another shop did.

You do see the part where they installed a TUNE REQUIRED intake on a stock tune for comparison (not even a transfer function loaded for the MAF)? Think that skews the results a bit?

There's been ONE independent test of the PMAS, and it made 12-14 whp. Right in line with everyone elses.

This was also on a 2013 GT, our kit isn't the same on the '13 as it is on the 2015. Different tube, filter, heat shield.

Nope because they calibrated a MAF sensor for the JLT tube to use the stock tune and MAF transfer and also used their no tune required intake with their MAF for their tube. Why would it skew anything if a calibrated MAF was used? I can tell you their MAF transfer function for their MAF tube is perfect (I logged it and fuel trims are really close to 0 closer than stock was) I would suspect they could calibrate for your tube pretty easily.

So a competitor scaled a Maf sensor for our tube. Lol great.

On this dyno graph look at the run numbers at the top

6...7...8.. pmas
Run 9 is stock
Run 13-14 is JLT

What about runs 10-12? Why does the last JLT run(blue lines) have the car losing power by 15-20 in the majority of the graph....you think that car was hot? Little heat soak maybe?

I posted 4 videos of shops doing tests....independent tests and the smallest result for intake only was 10whp...yet we should believe a competing's companies results of 5.

Believe what you want....pmas is selling pmas, not JLT.

Also that test was done on a car that doesn't even share the same kit....I'm not sure how it could be anymore irrelevant to this thread.

I'm always willing to have a vendor send me their kits and I'll dyno both on my dime. I'll pay for and keep the kit that is better.
