I am new to the mustang community, I looking at intakes right now. The steeda caught my eye. I like the sealed intake box. I did see that there were some reviews about it not fitting well. Has anyone on here had problems with it. Or if there are any other closed box systems that do well I am open to suggestions

Welcome. What are your plans for the car? Honestly it's not worth changing out the 18+ factory air intake, it's really a good performer from the start. Save yourself $400 and get a E85 tune.

Use the $ you save and go with a flex / e tune. 3x the gains sameish price.

Steeda closed box design is good to keep iats down. On straight e85 or pump you're good, but due to maf turbulence and idle variance will not work with a flex tune. It also stretches your stock box clips which isnt a huge deal unless you switch back to stock. In my case one clip stretched beyond being usable. I heard others having issues with both clips.

The car is as 15. I am planning on doing the 18 manifold swap at the same time. Right now I am starting to gather parts. I already have the manifold ordered and now looking for an intake and the steeda caught my eye. The plan is to do the intake, intake manifold, tune and possibly throttle body at the same time, along with a few things for the rear. Are there any other intakes that will keep iats down that are a decent performer?

Profile said 18 so didn't realize it was a 15 MY vehicle. Pre 18 the CAI made more of a difference than 18+. If not planning to do a flex tune the Steeda will work. Roush makes a closed box design too as well as AirRaid I believe.
