Or let her drive. She would not get sick as much if she looked at the horizon more. Burying her face in her phone is probably the reason she's getting sick...

Yeah, the inner ear senses movement, and if the eyes don't see matching movement, the conflicting data to the brain manifests as motion sickness. So you should try to watch the horizon and then the ear and eyes get the same input and all is well. At least, that's what they told me when I was a USAF flight engineer. She would not get sick as much if she looked at the horizon more. This video addresses just that point 30 seconds in.Yeah, the inner ear senses movement, and if the eyes don't see matching movement, the conflicting data to the brain manifests as motion sickness. Rookie. All I had to do was disconnect the battery in her car and tell her there was a sale at her favorite store.I've tried to teach her stick but she just can't get it
Driving a 1968 Mustang is essentially recycling. Way more energy goes into making a new car than is wasted by an older car.Speaking of wives. My wife was not real happy about my purchase. I would be a B- on that list. And then when I told her it was a summer car only, she asked me why anyone would buy a car that you can't drive all year round. I told her it was those damn summer tires that came with it. This is the woman that calls my 68 GT350 "loud & obnoxious" (which it is) and environmentally unfriendly.
[Rabbit Hole] You know, I first heard the energy usage concept in elementary school back in the 70's - even back then, the claim was that it took more energy to make a car than it would consume during its life cycle. I'm sure that gap is only widening as cars become more efficient AND more complex. With this reminder, I decided to google it... I think it's still true that driving an old car uses less energy than it takes to make a new car - but only if you don't drive it very much. However, it doesn't take NEARLY as much energy to make a car as I assumed based on my elementary school lesson. The Argonne National Labs completed a study back in 2010Driving a 1968 Mustang is essentially recycling. Way more energy goes into making a new car than is wasted by an older car.
Your old GT350 is doing the environment a huge favor.
if your wife informed you she was going to go out and spend 50k on a new set of furniture without telling you, or buy herself a new car, say a nice SUV, sporty car, etc for herself, would you be as understanding as you want her to be with you?You shouldn't have to ask for permission or forgiveness. If you got the money or it's the new daily you should just tell her your intensions and then go get it. Women today are very controlling and I doubt they get permission for spending money on vehicles or major purchases.

lol.. my wife has bought 3 jeep wranglers in a row. She only ever looked at the first one. The second and third she just called the dealership and told them the color, transmission, soft top, wheel color and it had to have the power package. That is what irritated me about her purchases. No clue what she was getting. When she got the 18 JL.. I asked her if it was a JK or JL.. her answer "Its red"if your wife informed you she was going to go out and spend 50k on a new set of furniture without telling you, or buy herself a new car, say a nice SUV, sporty car, etc for herself, would you be as understanding as you want her to be with you?
I did state you should still tell her, just don't let her debate it and influence your purchase. Basically tell her your buying a Mustang and then proceed to buy one.if your wife informed you she was going to go out and spend 50k on a new set of furniture without telling you, or buy herself a new car, say a nice SUV, sporty car, etc for herself, would you be as understanding as you want her to be with you?
Great story!! It's never JUST and ecoboost or V6, it's a mustang. And it's exactly what you want, good for you! And gratz on 11 years! She's sleeping beside me so I'll tell you my story. I'm 30, and we celebrated our 11 years together. We bought a brand new Mazda3 in 2008. Soon enough, our first kid arrived and it became the family car and I earned her old Kia Rio. Then a second kid, and finally a third one. At that point, I had to get a minivan. I wanted to change my MZ3, but with kids, the payment of the minivan and putting money aside to get a house, there wasn't room for another cashout. And with 3 kids, we thaught that it would be better if she stayed home to take care of them than just make them grow at the daycare. Last summer, wedding time! I rented a 15 Ecoboost for 3 days. Man I had a great weekend. My youngest kid is starting school in september and my wife started a new job. So in February, she told me it was time to think about me. She would prefer I'd get a car to make it A to B, but she understands that my car is a part of me. Now waiting on my 19 Ecoboost PP, AE, 101A, Magneride in NFG. I ordered it the exact way I wanted. No excuses. I'm not the kind who likes V8 nor converts and I didn't like all the goodies on the Premium. Yes it's a base Ecoboost, but for me it's my dream car. We're already planning on repeting our wedding weekend but with my car this time.
