Wider Tires

I have a 21 GT/CS which came stock with 255 size tires. I am on the stock 19” rim and want to get a new set of rims (want new rims to be 19”) and tires. I want something that will be more flush with the fender wall with no spacers and run a square set up. For rims I was looking at RTR Tech 7s and thinking of getting some Michelin Pilots 4S summer tires or the super sports. Please recommend sizes, figured somewhere around 285 or 295.

19x10 with 285/35R19 or 19x11 with 305/30R19 square or a mix of the two for staggered are what most people run for a bump in performance.

On my DD I'm running 285/35 /19 square on 19x10 wheels +35 offset with no spacers which is a pretty common set up. Tires sit flush with just a little poke in the rear.

Personally I like the look of a little more sidewall, with the wheel size you mentioned I would go with 275/40 square. You'll find prices are much more reasonable for that size also.
