Just make sure the elevation is notated in the sales order, and we will make sure to send the correct pulley out for you. :) And you will get the correct boost. The tune will work for the Altitude and the fuel. :) So you are golden there.

Here in my city the elevation is 7000ft, do you think is a good idea to change de pulley?, I did not know the max boost right now, because I am in the break in period.

Serious question. How fast has the Whipple 2.9 blower gone in the quarter? I was looking the other day and only found low 10s from coyotes to cobras. I'd love to see something faster.

the off the shelf entry level 2200 sl has been 8.9's......on the factory 6 rib

Lucky! :)

Yup, anything over 5,000 is a pretty big change in pulley. So just make sure they know it. :)

Can't wait to see some ProCharger 2015's hauling the mail soon! :)

Pretty sure that a bunch of CJ's have been sub 8.50's with the 2.9l's.

If we're talking race cars, the Whipple R980 and A980 rewrote the record books with countless records in Pro Mod, Door Slammer and NHRA alcohol classes. 5.46, 270mph is not too shabby...

If we're talking Mustangs, every Supercharged Cobra Jet, every supercharged COPO run sub 10's and many sub 9's. And this is with a fixed pulley ratio and sc size. Tasca just ran 7.60 and Roy Hill was in the 7.9's.

To say one is more successful then another is purely uneducated. The fact is, many rules prohibit the screw compressor or limit the throttle body size. It's also harder to duct air out of the PD to a 300lb intercooler in the passenger seat....this so happens to be pretty non-functional in daily drivers. I mean a big aluminum intercooler is nice but I think I would rather have a hot blonde in the passenger seat and my intercooler in my engine compartment!

Oh this just got real..... not even going to bother with this :)

There should be some pretty fast Coyote cars this year with the new F-1A-94 unit on them.
And the F-1A-91 class spec blower. Only time will tell. But that blower has already powered two cars into the 7's.
With a "little" 9" blower. (one being a 311cube push rod motor)

I was referring to coyotes since this thread is dealing with coyotes lol

we'll let the cobra jets in, even though they aren't really a car, but a part # from a catalog :)

they do have a coyote engine in them though.

since most guys on here are never going to build a race car.

best we've seen so far on the centri was an 8.74 at 3900lbs......

full street trim, car driven an hour to and from the track.....same way driven every day

Ronnie went an 8.9 with the off the shelf sl, including id 1000s , 4964 for the blower and injectors..... his wifes dd car

Anyone in Chicago got a Procharger on the way? Lets do some track and highway vids! I will run the Whipple kit out-of-the-box w/ stock throttle for a couple weeks before going nuts.

I like both kits but only have enough room in the engine bay for one. Would be awesome to see some side by side runs to share with the world.
