Hey guys so I have had the car a couple years now and i have always thought of supercharging it but now getting more serious about it. So I thought just go with the roush but then had some people saying whipple. My car is a 2020 GT only has a short throw and catback exhaust so no real mods. Is there suggested mods before supercharging? Also I have seen phase 1, 2, 3. From what I am reading it's phase 2 roush that is recommended? I would love to gain power in the lower RPM if that's possible. Has anyone done this and what do you think of it? Does the car gain a lot of low end power or does it need to be revved up fairly high to gain that added HP? Thanks in advance.
Whipple. From a guy with a 900+whp Roush.

Most reliable. Drive like stock set up that i know of is a VMP Loki kit. It uses the stock air box and throttle body so you have a 600 WHP kit that drives nearly as smooth as stock. The VMP kits come with everything you need. Don't need to buy injectors or fuel pumps separately.

You can't go wrong with any power adder, really comes down to your goals and budget and for some looks.

Your more than welcome to reach out, we do more power adders for coyotes than anyone. You can reach me 8-10 seven days a week.

Nope. The gen3 can use all the octane and more. It really needs 95-96 to make max power even stock.
i ran 93 in my 2019 whipple car. added torco to that, ran around 96 octane on the street, bumped it up to around 100 when i went to the track. Whipple kit comes with injectors and fuel pump upgrade. You will need axles, driveshaft and a clutch if you are going to the drag strip.

I will honestly just use it as a weekend car. It’s not even a daily. So I’m just gonna try and go with something that is reliable and fun to mess with from time to time. But that’s a good point is the clutch and trans good to handle the added power?

The clutch will not live long at that power level. The MT82D4, (if you have a manual in 2020 that's what you have), is better than most will give it credit for. If you are just going to use it on weekends for spirited street hits, the MT82 should last pretty well. I am boosted for over 10K miles on mine. The clutch on the other hand, not so much. You may get 1000 miles out of the stocker before it lets up.

I’m thinking I’ll hold out till Black Friday? Do these kits go on sale?
I want to say I remember seeing some kind of special on a forced induction kit last year...Maybe at Lethal Performance? Don't quote me on that though cuz I wasn't specifically shopping for that.

Nothing wrong with waiting a month+ to see if there's any deals amirite?

As noted in that debacle of a thread on if you regret your PD purchase, the Centri hits different than the Whipple. I had 47k miles on my stock clutch when I put my Whipple on. Hardly any races from a dig, all my stuff was rolling and it started slipping at about 1000miles in the middle of beating on a C6. It flared really hard on a 3-4 shift. I still beat him, but it was on borrowed time.

We have been using Whipple Superchargers on our performance packages for years and have had great success with big power and longevity.

At the power level you are shooting for, you are limited by octane and really any power adder will work. You wanted more low end torque, so get TVS unit. If your car is 2018 -2023 however, don't buy the Roush power adder for those years due to poor case design.
