Thanks man, it'd be great to find a good crew, since I got a pretty great one out here right now. Couldn't find that last time I was in Cali. Too much drama with the clubs and people I tried to hang out with. I have that in my work life don't need that in my personal life.
Consider it done  Quite a few clubs out here are like that. The group I hang out with just love to talk cars, go to meets and go on cruises through the beautiful canyons here in So Cal. No drama just good times :headbang:

Is the octanium safe for o2 sensors? Continued use? I want to try some.... Sounds a lot cheaper than race gas.... Which is $8/gallon here

So far yes. They say yes but I've used at least 12 cans so far and no prob.

What timing does the Whipple tune command with the 3.625 pulley and 93 octane and how much will the timing increase with 93 octane + Octanium?

Ya I see what you're saying, but it kind of is required if you run the 3.625 pulley isn't it? Considering we don't have 93 here?
Not mandatory, you can just flip the octane adjust switch which lowers the nominal spark for added safety. Then you let the knock system advance/retard where it needs. But if you want max power without race gas, that is a very nice alternative.

Timing is an extremely complexed answer. There is no one timing commanded as its a 3d based system. So it depends on IAT, CHT, load, cat temp, knock activity.... Also, we have timing per cylinder so what you see on a scanner is the base commanded but not what's in each cylinder as we optimize spark per cylinder, same as fuel. In general, we would be around 18deg, give or take a few depending on conditions.

On 91 octane, octanium will help the system run roughly 6 or so deg more timing and or combo of more boost and 2-4deg.

I tested on my own 15 Mustang Auto, stock exhaust, 3.625" pulley and it went from pulling 2-3 deg to adding 4. Of course on 91 we may get a better benefit because we are starting so low but I'm a believer. I've got a bunch of torco sitting next to my desk that I won't use now :(

In my testing it was a minimal gain. Back in the day it worked wonders but I tried quite a bit and did very little.

Thank you. So 18 degrees on a WOT pull, with ideal AITs, -knock, and good 93 fuel. Just want to say I'm extremely impressed with what I've seen so far from the Whipple tune and Flare.

Whipple SC what does the A/F look like on the 93 tunes with 3.625 pulley? I'm extremely impressed with the whipple tune! Whipple has done an amazing job. Most others wouldn't give out the info the Whipple does.

.78 lambda is target before any modes like cat saver, detonation or CHT protection.

Dustin, I have a question for you.

As a software engineer, I've come to appreciate your new cal software and how smart and extensive it is.

My question is, why don't you capitalize on this investment and offer your software to other S/C or Turbo kit vendors? Not only you still sell the best S/C on the market, you can also become the Microsoft of Calibration, at least for Ford platform.

That is awesome! Whipple really has done great job. My current tune isn't Whipple's:( On 93 with the 3.625 pulley I'm seeing 16.8 timing with -2.998 knock and my lambda is .75; I'll be switching up the tune soon. The whipple does run pretty cool too. My after blower temps on my last started at 100 degrees and dropped to 90 degrees at 7500 on a 3rd gear pull. That was with older coolant pump. I have seen a drop in temps with the new high flow pump:thumbsup:
