On a daily driver and the boost turned down in first gear using the new flight software would the stock axles hold up for a while without hard launches?

Would certainly hold up longer. We can't say exactly to what level but no question lowering the output during hard launches would help.

Note that I've gotten over 20k miles on stock shafts on our test mule. We just recently changed them as we put some slicks on to go down the 1/4 mile and we already had apart for the suspension. But they were still good.

I was just quoted $400 for the flare tool and $250 for the calibration.... Is this correct? I thought the update was free no?

Updates are free for the Flare tool. If you don't have a Flare tool then you have to purchase it.

Whats the minimum you can set the power level to with the software? Lets say if I have 650whp, and want less for daily use, can I set it to stock power level or is there a % to where you can adjust it with the software? Not that I would want to set it at stock power level , just curious if I could

I emailed Mike @ Whipple today. Gonna swap to the Whipple tune. Been running Lund from day one. I will post results when I get everything. I have a feeling the Whipple tune is significantly faster than what I have now. Lund says I'm around 600-650

-Lethals Lund tuned Whipple race gas trapped 135mph @ 800rwhp.

-Whipple w/flight control pump 93 tune just did 134mph @ 765rwhp.

So IF I'm at 600 from lund now... I can't imagine 765 with Whipple.

Where did you see a 765rwhp auto whipple tuned on 93 octane car at? I'm no where close to that.

Last weekend I took my car, first time down the track. Very first run, not enough tire psi and all over the track, 11.7, 91mph. Then with more tire psi, 10.89, 130.1 and I lifted .55 early because I didn't know where the finish line was lol (first time at that track). Also let the motor get way too hot, left line at 235deg CHT. Next time out I expect mid 10's and 135.

We finished the car at 9 at night and left at 8am so we didn't get everything done.

That's with production cal.
