wasted opportunity
Last time I got into my car I had 2 thoughts...

1) The Ford Performance sill plate integrates seamlessly with the color scheme of the interior on my car....love that.

2) Would have been badass if the red ‘Performance’ lettering was illuminated :headbang:

I like both of the attached door sill plates but prefer the ones produced in 2015/2016 and also like this one of a kind as well!

The only factory 4 seat R model produced by Ford and coming out of Flat Rock!

HAve the Ford FP plate, but I really like the GT350 one.

I prefer the earlier style but not paying the $$$ difference to swap out - later style Ford Performance will stay :)

I like both but prefer the later design of the two.

Got a great deal on a mint used set of the old style on eBay and immediately swapped them out. Very happy. (I'll keep the originals tucked away in a box.)

That bright red on the "Ford Performance" version might look good on some cars, but it's not so great on blue, not for me anyway. But that issue aside, the older style is so much cooler, IMHO, and the "GT350" logo matches the badge on the side of the car. Why on earth did they change them!?

I think Ford was pinching pennies and this part fell victim. The new 17 up looks more plastic looking, while the 15/16 looks like their is some etched metal or metal stamped into the sill plate with the specifications. Anyway, happy with the original sill plate on my race red.
