I can't decide which one of the two is a better sill. I believe the GT350 is the one I lean to a little more because I feel like Ford performance is going to be on many cars. While the GT350 sill is exclusive to the Shelby

The Ford Performance is what I have on my car. But I don't know if I should buy the GT350 sill and put that one on instead

I like them both and wouldn't really care which one I had in my car. Who know's, they could change it up for 2018!

I prefer the original GT350 one, it looks more unique & custom for the car.

But if I had a '17, I'd keep the Ford Performance version as it's spec for that model year.

Ford Performance. I think the GT350 specs one is just tacky.
You know it was modeled after some of the ID plates on the early Shelby cars, yes?

I agree, that's what I was telling my brother. However I know some people don't like that the car says Shelby but the 2017 only says Shelby in one place and I wish it would have somewhere inside that it would say it

What do you mean?

Just can't get enuff!
I always liked the first one (as in the 2015-2016 units) but I do like both old and newer FP style.... and IMO what's correct to have in place is the style which came on your car to begin with, yet it doesn't mean it's wrong to switch one out. This dilemma(?) isn't a big deal really... swap out or not, they both look good.

I like the original but I have the Ford Performance, oh well. I'm not going to change it.

Having had both, I prefer the earlier version. I will probably have some made up custom with chassis number for my 17, but looking much like the first plates.

Are the '17 sill plates metal? Kind of looks like plastic from the pictures?

I think the '17 would be better if it said FORD PERFORMANCE GT350, with the GT350 in the proper GT350 script.

I prefer the original. The ford performance is a bit generic and as a ford newbie means nothing to me.
