I honestly wasn't sure where to post this, because I don't track race my GT, but....

...My dang foot/ankle just doesn't twist like they used to. I'm having a heck of a time properly blippin' the juice where I need it when doing a 4-2, 5-3, or even a dreaded 5-2 in a pinch. Plus, it seems a bit far away. Even for my 11.5EE foot.

So, I decided I'm going to get myself a pedal kit. The only dilemma I'm having, is which one?

I've narrowed it down to 2 kits. Which do you guys recommend?

1. The Steeda kit, which has a notable wide base for extra contact. I really like this idea.

2. The Shelby kit. This also looks to have a wider throttle pedal, but not sure how much wider it is for better contact.

The Steeda one is made specifically to make heel toe easier, it's definitely wider than the Shelby one. You can also get just the throttle pedal by itself for like $25.
Have you seen the SRP kit? Would the extra wide version do the same, yet also get a textured dead foot plate to match?

Of those two I’d get the Steeda ones. But, I went with the Sullivan Racing pedals, a lot more options for size and design.

I was looking at SRP, and wonder if the extra wide isn't too wide. Which ones did you decide on?

I have the steeda gas pedal. No downsides just easier blipping. Install could have been easier if they had designed it more specifically for the S550, but once on, I like it a lot.

You can also get some spacers where the pedal assembly bolts to the floor/firewall to adjust it’s angle and/or depth a little.
