I think I've tried a half dozen boxes of nitrile gloves over the years and haven't been happy with any of them EXCEPT the handful I grabbed at the doc's office awhile back. <chuckling> As for the store bought "detailing" gloves, some are too large, some fit alright but are a pain to put on and some tear too easily. Started sprinkling baby powder in them first and that helped. Any suggestions would be much appreciated and thanks in advance.

I love the Gloveworks 8 mil orange nitrile gloves I get from Amazon. They are really durable. I tend to reuse them multiple times because they are so durable. I use XXL, but I usually need at least XL for most gloves. I would probably go at least one size up from the size you use for other gloves like leather/deerskin.

I use these. I wear them daily, in shit weather, for delivering mail and every other time I need them at home. They are relatively tough, but if you do rip one, they’re cheap enough to swap out. I have warn mechanic’s gloves over them, for extra cut protection

They showed up yesterday and thanks again for the Hayward Purple tip, they're just right. Next chore is to see how well they hold up while detailing.
Glad you like them! I've used them for about a decade and thought they give good dexterity, last a while, and are a decent price. The Sterling line, which is 200 ct in a box, doesn't last nearly as long before tearing, but I use them around the house for cleaning and other light tasks.

Yep, I do as they fit better and hopefully, as you say, minimize the ripping.

By the way, I'm curious about "sukhoi," anything to do with Russian aircraft?

Yeah back a disturbingly long time ago I was in a Russian aircraft flying group for a flight sim. I wasn't exactly planning to use it for the rest of my life, but haven't had a reason to change though the handle hasn't aged well recently 😂.

Honestly i use the black textured nitrile gloves from princess auto lol they are cheap enough i'm not upset changing regularly but good enough quality that they don't rip easily either putting them on or just working, not sure if you have a princes auto in your area and if so i guess my suggestion wont work.

50 years ago 1976 when I hired on at the Company I retired from in 2012 , there were no gloves available. The Chemicals I had to use were Keytone, Acetone , Meth Ethel Keytone, Trichloroethylene, Chevron 325 Solvents and more. About 1995 things started to change from all the problems guys and gals older than me had. Gloves , Respirators and educational classes were introduced. Fast forward to today ,I am sensitized to any type of material on my hands and my fingers split open , so I wear any type of gloves I purchase. The currant box is from Harbor freight . Anything is better than nothing. Always wear gloves ..
