Vehicle(s)
G0059 / Former Track Attack #14 "The Rented Mule"
1969 Dodge Charger (383 / Auto in Copper Poly with white vinyl roof and tan interior)
1989 Honda CRX Si (Barbados Yellow with black interior)
2001 Mustang GT (ex-Bondurant school car - Orange)
2018 GT350R (JR265 - base model with no creature comforts - Magnetic)

Not my Charger, but same colors..... One just like this - okay, with a little rust in the rear quarter drop-offs - was mine back in mid-'81 (a few months before I turned 16) for the princely sum of $175. Sold it to help pay for college and thought I made out like a bandit at $1,800.

Not my CRX, but same spec..... put tons of miles on that car, sold it to my nephew when I got married (to buy a Jeep Cherokee and be a responsible adult), then watched it go through a succession of owners in the area.

Me and ex-Bondurant #74 at Blackhawk Farms Raceway in 2009...... Brought it home from the school and tore up the track with it for a few years before selling it to a friend who still runs it (although it now sports a wicked Coyote / T56 swap).

JR265 during the short time I owned this special car (thanks to @Tomster).... What can I say - definitely the last of a breed with no A/C, radio, back-up cam, etc.

My first, 1967 Mercury Cougar. But I did not get rid of it, it was totaled because of an accident.

My first Mustang. 1965 Fastback, daily driver 1982-1987. Very early FB built 9/64 at San Jose, had several 64.5 features. Original C-code that had been "HiPo-ized". But, got rid of it for a good reason, bought a 66 GT350 which I still have today.

66 Mustang. Bought it for $300 in 1978. It didn't run and I didn't know how to get it running so I sold it about a year later because my parents wanted it out of the driveway I think. Guy I sold it to got it running right away and I would see it at work everyday for a year.
UGGH the torture

Not this car but it looked just like it. Same hub caps as well. A 289 automatic with a beautiful black interior that was perfect.

My dad had a same year Mustang. Picked it up in 68 after returning from Nam. His was 4speed. One of 2 V8 mustangs down in Puerto Rico at the time. His was green, which is what he said if I remember correctly. Definite beauty.

This was my first own new car and I loved it!

Lots of light tinkering with it to get the handling and sound to where I wanted it (Eibach lowering kit with sway bars, lower control arms, relocation brackets, panhard bar, Ford Performance touring GT500 axle backs, CAI and BAMA tune). Got a new job with much longer commute (1.5 hours/day) in 2017 and couldn't deal with the noise and ride quality anymore so traded it in for a 2017 A4. Solid commuter but not quite as much fun of course.

Ironically the dealer asked me to revert the Mustang to stock as much as possible, which I did the weekend before the new car got delivered and lo and behold all it needed to become more comfortable and less noisy was to remove the tune and revert to the factory airbox :-(

Value retention was solid as well. Got it new for $41,400 Canadian and traded it in for $24,500 Canadian after 3.5 years and 80k km / 50k miles. Can't say the same for the Audi.

On the positive side of it, if I didn't get rid of the GT I probably would've never gotten the 500 but still miss being able to drive a Mustang in the winter (won't do that to my 500).

Plenty of cars I wish I still had but my 69 Dodge Super Bee is the one I miss the most. Had a 66 Mustang Straight 6, 90 LX 5:0 Notchback. I think the 98 GT was a nice car as well, 2000 Yellow GT, a 2005 GT when the retro style came back, silver with red interior. Had a nice 68 Camaro and 73 C3 Vette shipped to Denmark. Here’s a few favorites.

all but the cobra was before I turned 25! Looking back on this I'm surprised the Charger was the only one wrecked. Also reminds me that my insurance adjuster fathers gray hair, indigestion, and heart problems was all directly related to me and my cars. Jim
