1st Mustang, I wish I would have had a clue (19 years old) what it would be worth today if I'd have kept it and kept it nice. What a hoot it would be to have a 69 Mach1, 428CJR laying around the garage! Jim
Ok so no one expects it, but if you ever need a hook put on the front of these cars there will be thousand in damage to splitter, grills, bumper cover ect. The steeper the angle on tow line the more damage. Especially PP cars. I gaurantee you will sign a damage waiver before any hook will go on.
You say there are no drips on plug! Clean the oil off the top of the plastic shield first. A tablespoon of oil will drip for what seems like forever. A little got on it from the filter change and wind/gravity is making it drip off the back. Do the easy stuff first! Jim
I wish I could tell ya, may have been that way from day one. Maybe a monster pot hole you don't remember, so many possibilities. It's a shame that now days you have to check so many things on a brand new vehicle to make sure it's in spec.
If that was toe out both tires would be worn very similar. That is quite a bit of neg. camber and yes a shop can fix it, be aware there is no camber adjustment from factory. You will either need camber plates ( best, expensive),or bolts (less money and ok depending on how you use car). if you...
I've never heard of cars being chocked and I'm surprised any RR would allow it unless they scored a strong "not responsible for damages" contract. I guess anything to save a dime.
Retired from NS after almost 40 years, those vehicles on rail transport are most definitely tied down. If you ever watched switching operations or the hump yard you would understand an unsecured car would be totaled without any derailments!
NOT normal, the remark about a different dealer sounds good. Something you could try that's pretty easy and free, unhook the battery for 30 minutes or so. Then drive it for a couple of days and see if it changes. Ya the A10 is twitchy but mine doesn't act like that. Jim
Well had my truck serviced and got no where with parts guy over looking into the antennas. all he had was a lot of reasons why he couldn't (wouldn't) look any of this up for me. From the diagrams you found it looks like the wiring is enough different between the 2 that I'm giving up till a...
I made a set out of 1.5" aluminum, you sound capible so I won't bore you with details, but 1 heads up. On the drivers side the 4 holes (2 front and 2 rear) are not in a straight line, the pass side is. I don't know if this is a one off on my car or common to all. The rear 3 holes line up but the...
My 23 F150 was just over a quart low, had dealer fix it. They advised that trans level is no longer on Fords "check before delivery list". Don't know if that's true or not, they had no explanation as to why neither axle or transfer case hadn't been checked. Rear axle was a quart low also.
Ya that's my thought also, if I can swap for the convertible mast I will give it a try. If I have to run cable clear to back of radio, I probably won't bother. If I learn anything Tues. at dealer I'll let you know. The coupe (at least 20's) is in the rear window so it stands to reason that there...
Thats interesting but says it's the satellite antenna which on mine is the shark fin. Not sure what your lay out is on the 22. I have an appointment Tues. at dealer, will see if the parts guy will dig around for me. It would be nice if the lay out was similar and had a connecter you can get to...
No I got side tracked and the car set some. It's out of storage again and bugging me again, I had one guy tell me he thought that the rear antenna wire went to the bcm first then radio. This would be easier but I haven't confirmed.
But why bother when you can get one that fits, wonder how funny you'll think you are after you have to do it half dozen times? OP if you're going to spend the money get one that works, they're out there and I didn't spend extra for one that fits
