Wheel & Tire Damage :(

Had mine damaged possibly when it was in a specialty shop, but I didn’t notice it then only a day later so I couldn’t prove it and I like the shop so not worth starting a fight.
Had a guy come to the house, the repair and color match perfect, can’t tell it was touched.
I spoke to the guy Sunday and he did it Monday morning, checked the balance and torqued to spec, 125 dollars

I was a little concerned about tracking my car after the damage, but the rubber is thicker there and the sidewall remains undamaged.

He repair the wheel, and did balance for 125? Where was this? I want to check the balance on mine as well even though it seems straight and there were no vibrations while driving.

Ok guys, here are the pics. The guy did a great job. Curbside Wheel Repair in South Bay, CA in case anyone is interested. Charged $125 and came to my house for the repair; took him roughly 35-40 minutes.

He didn't fill it he just sanded it down and painted it. He said he doesn't fill anymore since with the fill there's a chance it can come out if you hit a big pot-hole or a hard bump in the road and he would occasionally have jobs where he'd be fixing that. I'm fine with this, it's not noticeable at all unless you know it's there and/or are staring at the wheel up close.

Why didn't you just buy a OEM/reconditioned wheel? $170 shipped is hell of a price.

uh, you got me there lol. No idea they were that cheap. But, eh, I don't even care too much, planning on getting different/lighter wheels in 1-2 years anyways.

Well is done. Looks good anyways. Save up for some light wheels. The OEM wheels are 33lbs each.

Not sure yet, but a buddy of mine is getting me to look into gold/bronze wheels, and originally I've always hated them, but they're quickly growing on me lol.

Looks like you got yours done quick. Mine turned out OK...the sheen of the newly painted area isnt perfect, but i doubt anyone would notice but me. However it might drive my ass crazy...so i will either buy a new wheel this winter or buy 4 from Signature.
