So we all know the moral of the story is watch the technician , and torque by hand, by step torquing and star torquing; and no guns ; and Then you don’t end up with lug nuts that are warped like these that only a 7/8th socket will fit . 150 ft lbs is quite higher than my 66 shelby was.

and found out the monkeys that worked on it only had the wheels torqued to about 65 pounds and had used a air gun and had warped the lug faces

Who would take a car to a place that would do that.

For that reason, I do it myself.

The good news is that those lugs are cheap.
