I have a partial on my rear fenders. Partial works perfectly for finders only paid 100 per side for them....cant be seen unless its pointed out to you.
I work at an OEM...manufacturing automatic transmissions. Those look like burrs that probably didn't get knocked off when the block or heads with through the HPD (high pressure deburr). Unfortunately its not not always perfect process. Keeping dirt, debris, and chips off of and out of parts...
I would second this place. Its 300 miles from Akron. I had my car done there and there was a Ford GT getting full clear bra and 2 GT3 RSs. They also had a GT3 that was shipped from texas that arrived while my car was there. Its the most high end and professional automotive outfit I've seen...
You should be able to seat it all the way but you do have to give it a pretty good pop with a dead blower hammer or rubber mallet. I didnt think mine would seat at first either. But I got it to and all the hardware fit.
I'd say its like a 99% chance that this was an issue with the dealer install. Mine looked normal when I bought the car but upon further inspection it was missing like 50-60% of the hardware holding it in place. They literally just left out all of the bolts along the middle of the splitter...
Just an FYI those black oxide screws can and will eventually rust. It might be minimal but id rather just use stainless so they always look new. I actually purchased some stainless screws when I was making a bike rack for my tonneau cover on my raptor and I painted them black...If you are...
I am guessing that it is produced with the exact same CNC machines cutting the Coyote engines, just different tooling and programming. The machines most likely read an RFID tag on the block which tells the machine run 5.0 Coyote or Run 5.2 Voodoo. I am not positive on this but that is what we...
I'm not sure what tolerances they were holding on these bores or what thier repeatibility looks like, but even with CNCs there are lots of factors when you are mass producing parts. Coolant temp, air temp, casting quality, tool wear, clamping, ball screw wear, spindle temp, spindle runout...
I have never liked any all weather mats in my mustangs...typically save them for trucks and winter cars. However I also have there 3D mats and I love them. They look nearly stock honestly. I did the hot rod power tour in this car and it rained like 90% of the time so I was happy i had these...
This is a good point if you do pick it up make sure to test the hell out of the AC. Lots of guys have had issues and that wouldnt be covered under the 5/60k powertrain of course.
When I had PPF put on my car the $120 bucks for new fender badges was hard to swallow and spending $9.49 would have been nice. But when you spend 60k on a car and $2500 for PPF its just par for the course. If you plan to use the badges to decorate your garage or tool box that is one thing but...
There are 2 bolts in the rear that are used when jacking rails are installed i believe. I think these are preweld assembly bolts...I typically put my jack with a rubber puck on these two bolts which are right next to the pinch weld in the rear.
This was extremely frustrating for me when I bought by car bc it was sold out and they weren't going to have an offering again for a year after. I started checking their site daily and calling occasionally, because they were in discussions about adding more dates. Hopefully they add more dates...
I haven't tested this for sure on the Voodoo, but on my Terminator when I went from TR6 plugs to BR7EF the car would pop like crazy on decel...similar to the GT350. I eventually went back to the TR6 plugs because The BR7s also created a missfire on that car at idle. I wouldn't be surprised if...
I actually got the Lethal Performance res delete. It is only slightly more than the Shifteck piece, but it is made from better stainless. Its also not near as pricey as the Corsa res delete.
I think you have a good theory, but in reality these cars are feet off the ground during delivery and I dont see that quantity of rocks impacting 4-10 feet in the air. Maybe one or 2 but he has them all over.
I doubt there is much difference in sound. I installed the Lethal Performance resonator delete last week. It was a quality piece. There were no instructions in lieu of an online video that gives you the proper cut length. I was on the fence for a year because i don't like the extra rasp in...
I had to drive mine 200 miles when i got it i just would switch from 5th to 6th every 5-10 min so that the car wasn't sitting at the same RPM for and extended period on the highway. Other than that I kept it below 5k RPM for like 600-700 miles and and once it hit about 900-1000 miles it was...
I think the H and X wont sound much different so you will be good. However, I dont think that anyone is just welding in straight pipes with now x crossover. The exhaust shops leave the stock X in place and weld straight pipe into the section from which the resonators were removed. From your...
I'm very interested to hear this setup. I wasn't aware that shifteck had started producing an H. I would prefer a less raspy option as well. Being that these cars are raspy by nature that is the main reason i haven't pulled the trigger on a res delete yet.
