If I was looking to improve lap times, I doubt the weight savings from a light weight battery would make much of a difference. Probably a stock appearing but stronger battery in my cars future.
Ha...didn't think anyone noticed that kind of stuff!. I drove and tracked the z/28 for 2 years and then cashed in during the COVID price run and sold it for 150% of what I bought it for. Finishing up a '66 FB stang street/track car and have an Active Performance '66 GT40 project on the way.
I...
What's the consensus on the replacement for the OEM battery? My '17 R with 2800 miles will be needing a replacement by spring. Wondering on what brands and specs seem to work well.
I've been watching the used market for GT350R's on Bring a Trailer to see what mine is worth (Gen 2 R with 2900 miles). HE R models are consistently bringing nearly $100K over MSrp. It's insane. Low mile R's that haven't been messed with are bringing strong numbers as well. I bought mine...
No 500 for me. Ford isn't allowing my dealer to order the CFTP. All that BS about Ford cracking down on ADM's was just that...BS. Ford has a customer that wants to order a car from an upstanding dealer (with a confirmed allocation) that is selling at MSRP and they won't let us. And yet, there...
I'm 7th currently on another local dealer's list for a MSRP 2023 C8...started at 13th on December 30th. At the current rate of allocations, I should be ordering in September if my GT500 allocation doesn't work out.
Dealer got back to me today after a meeting withthe regional rep last week and confirmed that we have a '22 allocation, but still don't know if we can order a CFTP car. What gives?
We just want to know if we can order the CFTP optioned car. An order was placed in the system on New Years Eve....but hasn't been picked up yet. I think even the dealer is scratching his head!
I've had their MSRP 1st order allocation spoken for since last fall, with the stipulation that I only want it if they can get the CFTP option. I ordered my '16 GT350 from them at MSRP, so they're legit. Hopefully we get some good news on Thursday.
Does anyone know how the Ford regional reps decide who gets what allocations? My dealer has sold its allotment of 500's during each model year (I think 2-3) but has never received an allocation for a CFTP car. The manager told me that he hopes to find out after a meeting on Thursday if we can...
If dealers know they have an allocation(s), should they know by now if they can get the CFTP option? I have an allocation lined up, but my dealer told me last week that they still don't know if we can get the Carbon package.
We placed the order into their system on 12/31/22.
Prices rise every year, it just varies and that would be figured into depreciated cost. I don't think that will make up for any ADM paid, but I could be wrong.
