I still think its crazy people expect huge updates when a car has been out for 2 years and is selling like crazy. What did you expect besides new colors and minor touch ups? As for introducing a new special edition we still have the 350 with 20k ADMs selling, and isn't a gt500 in the works? Maybe I'm just used to trucks and bimmers where hardly anything changes for 5 years

I'll take a fixed or retractable glass roof for 2018, I don't care how much weight it adds.

I know I sound like a broken record but that is seriously the only option I REALLY want.
I feel the exact same way. I would seriously consider trading in my 15 for an 18 if they had that as an option.

Nah, the base Mustang is nice. Obviously not as tricked out as the premium trim, but it's not "horrendous" or "ugly." So much hyperbole.
Actually, yeah you are right.. it's not that bad but I do like the look of the 8"inch screen..

With my neg equity, I will probably end up getting a base one anyways lol

The performance Pack is a must and Recaros will really help the look of the interior.

Mustang's already slow as it is so adding a glass roof ain't exactly going to ruin the non-existent competitive advantage it doesn't have.

Same here - I only say "retractable" because during a Q&A early on (can't remember if it was M6G or another site) where Jameel H said when asked about a glass roof "we will not offer a fixed glass roof on the 2015" so it leaves hope!

But you're forgetting the bench racers and stat chasers, 1 lb is HUGE

Honestly a sunroof is more likely than a retractable glass roof.. whatever that is.

Yeah but Lincoln makes it so I'm holding out about as much hope as those are who want a twin turbo 5.2 CPC GT500....:D

If a 10-speed auto trans, a horsepower increase, and PP for autos arrive in 2018, I'll trade my 16 in to get one.

That's a pretty big hit you're going to take isn't it?

The other thing to consider is that with every change there comes quality risk. If the S550 is selling well then adding any changes adds to the risk that you could introduce quality issues along with it. They have a lot of data on the current s550, any changes will cause uncertainty and they will have to re-learn. The old "don't change what is not broken" principle. Especially with the RHD being totally new, having a stable year or two of production would be a good thing.
Yeah exactly with the RHD market. In Australia the first cars only arrived late December so here its brand new. However the way current wait times are the 7th gen mustang will be out before mine arrives :headbonk:.....i ordered September 15 and I won't get it till December 16....
