Page 2:

- 465HP GT
- More Aluminum for 120lb weight decrease
- New 10-speed auto
- Performance Pack for Automatics
- Magnetic Shock option
- Electronic Exhaust option
- Track Pack (includes ultra light 19x10,19x11 wheels, oil/tran coolers, Brembos front and rear, carbon hood/fenders, TREMEC 6-speed)
With those options, that car would be roughly $50k and don't see any need for a 10spd Auto in a mustang.

Yeah but Lincoln makes it so I'm holding out about as much hope as those are who want a twin turbo 5.2 CPC GT500....:D
You and your desire for a Sunshine State Sauna option. :headbonk:

Possibly the most wished for additions to the Mustang by far :) Would be great to have all that for MY18. But what would be the point of the GT350 ? the difference would become really small.

The GT350 would still have more power, a better suspension, be even lighter still, have better rubber and better brakes..

465 HP doesn't step on the GT350's toes, especially since apparently the 5.2 Voodoo is supposed to get an upgrade soon as well.

Has there been any talk that 2017 MY is the last year for the V8 in the GT? My friend said he was reading that it's getting phased out... I can't imagine not having the sound of a V8 in a muscle car in favor of a boosted V6...

Unfortunately, not much unless express/remote windows or one of the new colors excite you.
Note: No official order guides available as of yet, though, to see if something changes.
The Black Accent Package wheels appear to be leftover 50th Anniv Package wheels painted black.
California Special carried over.
HP ratings are the same.
So what was on page 2...anything?

Hey, that rumor is true. They ARE replacing the V8 in 2018 with a quad-turbo I-4. Independent turbos per cylinder. With a hex-plane crank...

Those type of guys that reported the "phase out" of the V8 are the ones that float a rumor one day and then the next day report "people are reporting... " and repeat the same rumor from the previous day. To give it more "credibility" they anonymously quote themselves.

If a 10-speed auto trans, a horsepower increase, and PP for autos arrive in 2018, I'll trade my 16 in to get one.
I will too and I don't even have my 2016 yet........:):):)

Very good points. And, let's not forget, Lt Frank's car wasn't badged as a "Bullitt".....it was a "stock" '68 GT390 that just happened to be DHG. Ford just needs to give us that colour and let owners do the rest :)

The Mach 1 still excites me........even if it means I have to wait another year to see it :)
Ok guys- gotta get off the DHG kick. The ONLY Bullitt Mustangs ever appearing in DHG were the 2001 and 2008/09 versions. DHG is a Ford truck color that Ford had in inventory (touch up paint sticks etc) and thus used it on the 2001 Bullitt.

The 1968 Mustang(s) used in the Bulllitt movie were painted Highland Green. A lighter metalliac green.

So do you want the wrong shade of green to match the 01 and 08 cars or have Ford bring back the original Highland Green. Note that paint formulations since the 60's have changed and the exact 68 formulation is not possible but something a hell of a lot closer than DHG should be possible.

Oh- a Guard Mustang in bright light is fairly close to HG, it just takes on a substantially different hue in poor lighting situations.

You're right.....I shouldn't have referred to the '68 color as "Dark".

To answer your question though.....any dark green would be welcome. A green that isn't easily confused with grey in certain lighting conditions.

A lovely deep emerald green :)

Yah they really need this to happen. Guard next to Magnetic at night was almost impossible to tell apart at times. One time at a dealer I told the guy it was guard and he was like now that's magnetic and I said go read the invoice on the side.
