The Copper color sounds nice and would be more orange than Competition Orange which almost looks red in certain lighting.

I'm still waiting and holding out hope for my favorite Mustang color in 2018, Dark Highland Green, on a new Bullitt for the 50th anniversary of the movie.

Would love a new Dark Highland Green, but seriously Comp orange only looks red because it's hard to capture in pictures.

In person there is no way to confuse it with red.

As someone who owns a `15 Mustang Convertible in Race Red, not so. There is a a bit too much "Orange" in Race Red for my taste compared to a BMW or VW Red but I had no choice since I didn`t care for Ruby Red on a Mustang. No, Race Red is (not) Orange but there definitely is some (orangish) hues in it.
