I think Grabber Blue is going to need some stripes to set it off with the S550..otherwise it's a bit wonky looking..
You mean a one big solid stripe that covers the entire car and is a different color? Agreed.

I think the Grabber Blue with a black Super Snake stripe would look bad ass.

I liked it in grabber blue, looked really good, I do agree it needs black accents but I don't think it needs stripes.

...still waiting for the heated steering wheel and MRC to make the 'stang GT Premium with PP the most comfortable year-round muscle car. If I can't hold off the new car itch 'til 2018, it's Camaro 2SS for me unless I can get a 10K discount off a Challenger SRT 392 (something about 245 width tires on the lower level Challengers make it a bit of handling joke when lighter Mustangs and Camaros come with 275s).

...looks like not enough takers in '16 for blue exterior with dark saddle interior to offer again for 17, or someone thought the new Lightning Blue doesn't go well enough with dark saddle. DIB fans planning to buy a '16 who find rarity appealing ought to order with the dark saddle since that combo only existed as an option for '16. I've only seen dark saddle in pictures, but it seems like it would go well with DIB.

It wasn't going to make the '15...and it surely would be dropped by '16...and now it looks like it will be retained for 2017s. Long Live the Lowly, "Rodney Dangerfield, 'I get no respect' Cyclone V-6 engine. Dudes, how can this be?

That's lightning blue? Wow, I actually like that color. Doesn't look anything like the color posted on previous pages of other Ford cars with that color. I forget, is it a metallic paint job or just standard?

Also, what's up with the ugly clear rear lights? Don't like that center emblem either.

EU standard requires an amber rear turn signal, correct? I thought I remember seeing a Top Gear episode where the center light of each rear bank of lights is the amber turn signal and the outer two lights are red....and EU can forget about the sequential turn signal the Yanks get with their all-red rear lights. At least with this generation, they are "all clear" - until the diode lights up, that is...

Does that have something to do with European regulations or is that what Ford's European division decided to put on the car?

Oh well, the upside is you folks across the atlantic can probably get replacement U.S. Market taillights for a relatively affordable price and just swap them out. If it's allowed, that is.

I'm sure lightning blue will look a shade or two lighter in reality than it does in the configurator. With less of a green undertone.

It's nice to finally see a metallic white being thrown into the mix. How about a metallic black too?!?!

Also, is there any chance for DI for the 2018 refresh? Sorry if this has been discussed recently. I've been outta the loop for a while.
