Hey guys I just got new wheels and tires. I had the stock 255/40/19 all around and I just got 265/35/20 up front and 305/30/20 in the rear. Tires have been on for less than a week now and the inner tires in the rear are just getting ripped up. Going to take it to get an alignment tomorrow for more even tread wear. Not sure what the camber should be at.

If they're getting chewed up that much, most likely a toe issue as well. For a daily driver, -1.5 or -1 degrees camber will work, toe should be set to factory specs

I appreciate your response. This is what is going on with the tires here’s a few photos. Yes I know there is glass in it. That’s How I noticed the tire getting ripped up as well

Looks to me like the toe is your biggest problem, camber would wear one side or the other of the tire (and not that quick). That tire is cutting, a proper alignment will sort it out, id be interested to see the toe numbers. Please post a picture of the alignment read out, could be interesting

I will be getting an alignment later today and hopefully the shop can sort it out. I’ll post the numbers. Thank you

Here is the specs. I don’t see why the tire is ripping up like that. Possibly from a few launches? I’ve done some 0-60s but that’s it.

Check your wheel bearings. You've got something going on, because the alignment is fine, but those tires are not.

LOL, yeah I agree, what kind of tires are those? Your photo's are way too close to really see what is going on. I think we are looking at the outer edge of the tire, but just hard to tell. Wish I could get 1.6 camber out of my factory set up.

They look like continental extreme contact DWS based on the tread pattern to me.

yeah the rubber formulation is crap. Or they are REALLY old and crumbling for lack of molecular bonding. Or were abused way outside their temp range (cold with summer tire, or badly overheated)
