What is a good PSI to run for daily/spirited driving? Just got a set of 19x9.5 and 19x10 that came with 255s and 275s.

What ever pressure keeps the tread flat across the whole tire

I run 32 for daily road use, drop to 30 cold when wanting more grip, or will be driving "spirited"..

I had been running at 36 psi, when I got some new rubber they set them to 40 psi and showed me how they can wear unevenly. 32 is to low. I found 40 on the front, where the weight is and 36 on the rear workers well. If you're on a race track that will be different, need to drop the pressure a bit.

I generally do 38 on front (the GT) and 35 in the rear. The EB coupe, 35 psi all round.

I find 35 gives me most traction and better wear

It's also likely that whatever pressure gauge your using, it'll be reading at least 2 psi more than the actual pressure.

OP didnt say what tires.

generally 32 is good, and they’ll increase pressure on their own as they heat up if you’re actually driving hard. MP4S need to be kept under 38 hot or they fall off. 30 or something is too low IMHO, but it all depends a bit on the tire you’re running.

I generally run between 32-34 cold (34 in winter, 32 summer). There’s a few factors at play, including use case (tire, outside temps, tire, etc). That handy little sticker in the driver side door jamb is a good place to start. The cars that come with summer only, lower profile tires from factory (Mach 1 HP, GT350, GT500) would be a good reference point if you’re running those kinds of tires (I don’t recall if factory recommends 32 on those cars as well, someone with that sticker in their door jamb can confirm).

I find in summer that starting at 32 cold will get to 34 pretty regularly with normal driving, 35 on the highway. That’s just about perfect for me and what I run (Conti ECS). I have zero uneven wear and grip feels great on spirited runs.

Will defer to the folks that track their cars on what works for them on track, I haven’t run my car on track.

I typically run around at 31psi. It seems like every tire I've run wants about 30-32psi to have all the tread on the ground. Big traction difference in the rear between 30psi and say 34psi.

Each tire is different. The Eagle F1's like 35
