I had an order for a M4. Last summer the BMW dealer sold me a mint traded in '13 Boss 302 w/ 1,100 miles on it. I figured that it would get me through summer and I'd then take delivery of the M4. Well the M4 came and went last September :D

I had a '11 GT3 before the B302. Great car it was but just way too focused of a car for DD duty, or even most backroads on the weekend. So I sold it for a modest profit. There really is no other car I'm looking at getting right now other than this new GT350. It would be hard to pass on a R but I'd be concerned that it would be as focused for the track as my old GT3. In hindsight I'm really glad I didn't get the M4 since the release of this GT350. I'd be having serious buyers remorse right now.

I'm going to say I will be looking at Camaro as well, but really GT350 is my top prospect. Unless it turns out that everything Ford has said about it is untrue (or something really amazing comes out from Chivy) I believe the GT350 will be my next car purchase.

It's between the M4 or GT350 for me. I'd consider the C7 Z51 but I need more practicality. At the moment I'm slightly leaning towards the M4 because of the availible DCT, build quality, and the fact that the current order guide for the GT350 is pretty screwed up imho (hopefully that changes). This will be my primary car but I have a beater for bad weather. Also, the M4 will get FAR better gas mileage than the GT350. I know it doesn't matter for some, but since the car will be driven probably 5-6 days of the week, it matters a bit to me.

Not to mention, that S55 engine in the M4 is an absolute gem. Instant response and power that'll tear your head off from just over idle to 7600 RPM. But at the same time the FPC V8 in the GT350 is completely mouth watering. I almost feel like it's the type of engine the M4 would've had if there were no emissions regulations.

I'm so torn between the two lol.

The GT350R gets the A/C and radio removed, but you can add it back in with the Electronics Package. This info is based off the preliminary order guide that is in a sticky at the top. Ford has also stated as much in various interviews. The order guide does seem a bit illogical in some ways, so take it with a grain of salt, but I believe the A/C and radio portion to be accurate because it matches the statements by Ford.

I know that pricing hasn't been released yet but, what other cars are you shopping that are in the price range that you think the GT350 will be in. The only other one that I'm looking at is the BMW M2 which I believe will be similarly priced.
I'll add the new Q60 concept that was shown in Detriot to my list although it was just a concept and there isn't much out on it at this time.

None...I am shopping no other cars as I don't see anything this unique for the price...I will be disappointed if I can't get a gt350. I hate to say it, but I'll probably just keep driving the tiguan until I can afford one of that's what it comes down to.

Then wait for m240?
Curious to learn more about the B58.

Regardless, I think the current M235i would make a fantastic DD.

Curious what the next Supra/FT1 brings to the table. Most indications have it in the same price range as the GT350 but little specifics have been released. The concept (which is a bit "out there" in styling) debuted a year ago so more info should be available soon. If it's a looker, <$60k, >400hp, <3500lbs I'll be intrigued for sure.
