For those too young to get the trunk monkey reference, and to remind us oldsters of the good ol' days -

I keep 2 Craftsman travel kits in my trunk (both from back in the day when Craftsman was actually Craftsman). One set has a few different screwdrivers, some sockets and a ratchet. The other has a handful of various types of pliers. I have the Ford spare tire as well. Also keep a blanket in the trunk in the winter and always have a towel handy as well. Mini maglight in the front console too

A spare tire, cocaine and a stack of ones. Never know when you'll break down in front of a strip club.

Pretty sure you're all too young to remember Rae Carruth. 😂

+1 on having the white funnel.

Sometimes, different wheels need different lugs. Confirm shape/sizing for the spare's lugs and bring those, if necessary.

Along with what's been discussed thus far, and, depending on the location and trip length:

- One roll of duck tape and/or package of tie wraps

- If area and conditions support it, a blanket, hot hands and some rations. Winter is a few months out. Some places we travel to can be remote. Nice to have something that'll keep a person for a few hours or overnight

for my 2016 first Mustang what tools, fuses and supplies should go in the trunk? I already bought a real spare as the funky air pump was missing on purchase.
It really depends on what I’m doing. I only drive my car on weekends and etc so if I’m just around town, I don’t really worry about anything special. Spare tire and breaker bar and a drying towel.
