Hello, years ago, I read a thread on another forum of guys, using a type foam to fill the tool box draws then cut out the shape of the tools so they fit in the cut outs.
This kept the tools neat and you knew if something was missing.
Any Idea what that foam is called or where to look for it.
I want to make one for the spare tire well. To hold the 1/2 drive flex head ratchet, ex. and socket, and some other minor tools. Seems like a good way to keep them in place and not bouncing around .

Those are really nice, but damn spendy. I'd rather buy more tools.

That would definitely work... but man, it would take forever to cut out all the spaces needed for each and every type of tool...

Then if you're OCD, what happens when you get a new tool that goes with a certain tool series and now you don't have the spaces needed cut & group them together.... ugh... won't work for me... LOL!
