Can you explain why the whole car over what you have already done? Easier to wash, less scratches? I'm curious, thanks.
All of the above. Less scratches, easier to clean, easier to maintain, peace of mind considering I live in a downtown/city environment and car is outside 24/7

I also hate the dirty edges that do clean up but are a thing you see when car gets dirty.

Also not as cost effective to do it in stages versus all at once.

So a few things for me.

On the Diode Dynamics comments bad, then good;
Thank you for this. I have a set of the DD turn / fogs sitting in the barn waiting for the car to get out of storage. I'll cross my fingers as I install them. I understand you can install them by pulling the inner liners instead of the fascia?
Anyone want to comment on my contributing to hijacking the thread? Or will I come back next year and tell y'all how I regret this mod??

I will never understand tinting headlights and taillights. That’s a safety thing, they’re there (and bright) for a reason. I want people to see my car in the dark and I want to be able to see in the dark. Call me old, but that’s one mod that never enters my mind.

Devil's advocate - that's probably just a one-off issue. I've got the same fog/turn combo, as well as the side marker lights for the rear and some SS3 pods that'll get installed on my Mach 1 bumper eventually. Fog/turn combo have been rock solid for the almost 3 years I've had them. Agree that they do appear to be brighter and maybe a cooler white than the stock DRLs, which annoyed me at first, but I learned to live with it. I've got aftermarket headlights now, so hoping there's a bit more of a match. And the single orange diode that shines through the white on both sides eats at me but Mach 1 bumper covers it up. Driver's side side marker light failed on me and they sent a replacement asap. That's been on for 3 years and haven't had an issue with either since.

All that to say I'd give the warranty a chance. I think they make good products but a bad product here and there is expected.
My fuse pin mod turned off that single amber diode (shares same power source as the white LED bar)

My G-trac brace was rusted to hell. I literally just threw it away the other day, as I didn't need it anymore since I have the Steeda tubular sub-frame now. I sure hope this subframe holds up and doesn't look like shit in a year.... You can kinda see the subframe in this picture when we relocated computer and fuse box under the passenger headlight.

I double checked my g-trac brace today and all powercoat is intact aside from some road dust/grime build up in some areas. It is actually the later revision of the part where it is now angled down to be more compatible at clearing A10 transmissions, the original straight bar version I had to return years earlier cause it made contact with my transmission pipes that sat lower vs some, the new Steeda revision fixed it.

I struggled with that a bit before I did it. Today's high intensity lamps are insane. I used to get flashed by oncoming drivers constantly. I checked the headlamp adjustment and still got flashed. The lamps are still pretty bright even after the minimum tint and every so often I still get flashed.

On the contrary, I'm the type to mull over an unecessary mod for too long. So if I regret anything, it's wasting time not doing mods and enjoying them sooner.

More on track with your question though, I'm in the process of installing magnetic paddle shifters that I've had sitting around for a year, so we'll see if I like them more in theory or in practice once I report back here.
same. i didn't like the dual rate steeda springs and then when i got the minimum drop springs they weren't level so i had to make a spacer for one corner in the front. i wish i would have gone with BMR and koni or bilstein struts.

Ohhhh how did I forget this gem. Ordered the Steeda Pro Action front Drag Coilovers and they don’t come assembled. No biggie I’ve been installing suspension for over 20yrs. Go to put it together and for life of me I cannot get the coil compressed enough to get the top hat on. I email/call Steeda a few times and they swear it’s the right springs. Visit two shops before they could barely get it compressed enough to get the nut on. Run it down some and the picture says it all. I bought Steeda’s sockets to torque correctly and there was so much pressure from the spring that the cheap nut started to round. At that point I called again and emailed with pictures and they admitted they sent the wrong spring. They tried to replace the springs and I said no, I do not trust the product and want a full refund. They were fair and did provide me a full refund. I turned around and ordered the KellTrac long travels and couldn’t be happier.

It's cool but I get your point. I had the headlights and tailights of my F150 tinted for awhile but then I took the headlights tint after about a year since it was bleaching a bit. But that truck had very bright headlights so even with them tinted they were still better than any vehicle with halogens. I also had my windshield tinted lol.

I do agree that some of these new headlights are ridiculously bright. And the tint does look cool during the day. But, especially if you live in a more rural area (or at least an area that doesn’t have a ton of street lights), I’d rather not do anything to dim that lighting.

Yeah, when you live out in the sticks like I do, you want to see those deer that want to kill you ASAP.....

I live in a pretty populated area (we border the second largest city in the state of IL) but we also have several forest preserves and farmer fields and some of our roads have dead spots when it comes to lighting. We see our fair share of deer (and foxes, coyotes, etc) and I want to make sure I can see all of that in plenty of time. The Mustang has a lot of safety features and I consider it to be a pretty safe car for a lower to the ground sports coupe, but a deer will absolutely do some heavy damage to it (and possibly me and my passengers).

I clipped one on one of my motorcycles back in 2009, and was lucky to survive mostly unscathed. Full gear saves the day.

I've also seen what happens when you hit one in a low vehicle and it goes through the windshield.

You know, its funny you mention the springs and gaps. I have the same issue with Ford performance M-5300-W springs side to side, corner to corner. I read that ford build the cars with loose tolerances that will allow that kind of variablity - I even put in subframe alignment dowels and it's still not perfect.

The springs also advertised 20mm drop all around, and instead it was more like 20mm front and 10-12mm rear drop. I love the performance and ride quality, just wished the rears dropped the same as fronts and as advertised. I dunno, some people may like the raked look, and the handling dynamics that extra rake provides.

I installed the magentic paddle shifters and so far I really like them - I'll see if I regret it in the future. I'm hoping that the chinesium components don't fail or that the clicky clack doesn't become too cliche!

I only use the paddles for track driving anyways, so it will probably serve it's purpose well - here is a test video I did on the backroads:
