I have a 2019 GT-350R with all of 520 miles on the clock. Recently when I did a routine startup to take it on a short drive I noticed a couple things... One being that the exhaust note seems to be a bit deeper than usual (on either setting). Also when you hit the accelerator I feel it tends to make the dashboard give a slight rattle/rumble feel. So, I take it to my local garage as my dealer is a bit of a drive. They put it on the rack and give it a thorough inspection and can't find any break or detached anything that might likely cause the issue. Granted they are not specialists but ruled out anything which would be obvious in noting no broken motor mount or exhaust, etc. I will be taking it to the dealer when they can squeeze me in (don't get me started on my dealer and how long it takes to get an appointment with them, but as I have the Ford ten year warranty, whatever this may be will be covered).
Has anyone had this happen or can offer insight as to what the cause may be? It drives fine. Just makes the extra heavy exhaust note and what I feel a bit of a rumble feeling coming from the dash. Something is amiss. I'm just not sure what.

How old is the gas in the tank?

Have you tried disconnecting the battery and letting it idle a few mins? Depending on your trip lengths and habits it might fix it if not mechanical.

No errors in the dash or CEL?

No errors. Gas is relatively fresh premium. I have driven it a few times now and it is definitely something new that does not go away after driving it a while. Just a bit mystifying as I am not sure what it is. My local mechanic is a good one and he was scratching his head after being under the car for almost half an hour.

So a 4 year old car with 520 miles?
Ya man I don't get. Your horsepower at 500 miles will be the same at 100000 miles with relatively new cars as long as they're properly maintained.

Well, I got the car in late 2019. Then in 2020 I pretty much promptly caught Covid and was one of those lucky people where it chronically affects you long term. So, that pretty much translated to being stuck in a bed for 2 years. Some days I feel still rather poorly and it really hinders one's ability to go joy riding. Also I do have 5 cars and truth be told I am not a fan of the 350R's hard seats. I love the car, but no, I do not drive it much. I'm not really sure what that has to do with my inquiry, but since you asked.

injectors get temperamental after a few years of next to no driving. Either give them some exercise, or get them cleaned.

Edit.. hope that 'long covid' gets better.

Could be an issue with the VCT’s, which are a known weak spot. I had issues with the VCT’s on 4 separate occasions. 2 times it was the wiring that went to the VCT solenoids on the valve covers. The other 2 times are when the VCT solenoids themselves detached from their brackets. Keep in mind, my car was heavily tracked, but it could still be you issue and may not throw a code until you redline the old girl a few times.

edit to add the picture: The item on the far right is how the VCT solenoid is supposed to look. The two on the left had the welds fail between the solenoid and bracket that holds it in place.

I don't understand. You literally haven't even broken in the engine yet. And you barely drive it. So how can you be sure what sounds normal or not?
I know after the 3-4 month Winter storage, I thought my car's exhaust sounded different when I first took it out. But after driving it a few days, it all sounded normal again.
Solution: start driving the car a lot more, and then see if it sounds different.

Well I drove it enough to know that the sound and the slight vibration which was happening was Not what I had been used to. So for the last year when I have been more mobile I have started it and given it a short drive every few weeks. And the sound and feel that has happened recently stuck out like a red flag.

I’ve never seen so much hate for someone not driving their car. The only correct response should be “I bought it because I can afford it…. and because I wanted it. What I choose to do with it is my business.”

I’d hate to see what people would say if I posted my yearly mileage on some of my gear!!

I think at this point you just need to push the car hard enough so the computer recognizes a problem and throws a code (if it’s really that noticeable.). A video might be helpful also when looking for help diagnosing.

This was a little over the top. I still have no …… idea why people concern themselves with how others spend there money nor how they use what they purchased. He was just asking for a little input and help on something he wasn’t familiar with.

To the op, hope you keep getting better. My wife see’s lots of examples of what your going through with the lasting affects of covid for some.

My bet is injector(s) are somewhat gummed up and the spray pattern might not be 100% and causing a slight miss fire or not complete burn in a cyl. causing it to run ruff.
The exhaust sound deeper, After Covid I can hear low tones a lot better than I used to.
Good luck with it.
It most likely just needs an Italian tune up.
