Sorry if this was brought up already but I saw on your pictures that the wheels say made in USA but in Ford Performance they say made in China…..wouldn’t this make them different

Thanks for pointing that out. @Biggsy mentioned that they had different construction but the pictures don't lie, at least about where they were made.

Would also be a reasonable explanation for the price difference between the FP wheels and wheels ordered from a dealer.

On FP it says Country of Origin USA I don't know what's ford doing selling these the way they are and screwing M1 owners. I think @shogun32 said oversupply which could be right.

This post is targeted at me. I think it's a dick move to ask $3500 for a set of takeoff wheels and rip off our community members. This platform is meant for information sharing and providing insights to one another. I simply noted to a member that the wheels alone are selling for $1000. I'm sorry if that offended you but there are three other threads here noting the same thing.

You can list it for $6000 for all I care, there's a buyer at every price. But it's childish to make a thread about helping other members and you acting butt hurt because I "took away" your sale. No one was paying that price. When pp2 takeoffs came out, which were very sough out, the most I saw was $2500 with tires.
If a buyers and sellers haven't done their homework then so be it. If you must appoint yourself as price police, PM the parties instead of crapping on someone's thread.

You're killin me Ira  but wouldn't that be great to be able to do that for someone!
Just yesterday, a fellow mustang owner crashed his 2016 GT and cracked 2 18" wheels and tires plus airbags. I had my takeoff set of all four with like 100 miles on them from my 2016. I let the kid have them for $500. I thought I gave him a great deal with like new wheels and tires. I needed them out of my garage, and he needed the set. Sometimes it's nice just to help someone out.

Its a free market.

If you don't like being called out by someone, offer a better deal.

No sense in getting pissy about it.

Goodyear Supercar 3/3R are 30% off again. buy thru USAA member benefits.
$1212 includes $76 install for SC3 in 305/30-R19
$1145 includes $76 install for SC3R in 305/30-R19

Just as a 'market' comparison datapoint vis-a-vis new PS4 and Cup2 value.

You are looking on the wrong wheels, the PP2 wheels perhaps.

The Ford Performance page clearly says:
Country of Origin: United States
https://performanceparts.ford.com/part/M-1007K-MACH1H
I asked them and they confirmed via email they are the same wheels that are mounted on Mach 1 HP at the factory.

Same wheel but different finish right? Black as opposed to magnetic?
Nope, it's Dark Tarnished paint which is identical to oem wheels, order guide also lists them as Dark Tarnished painted.

We'll know 110% after someone receives them which should be soon.

You can't change how people are, unfortunately.

It's like when I posted about winter tires recommendations, and half the responses were "just buy a winter beater", like buddy that's not what I'm asking. It is what it is man - just don't take it personally.

Why haven't you bought a winter beater yet? How dare you want to use your car in a climate it's not designed for. SHAME /s
