Looks like incentives brings it down to 37 ish which seems fair to me, that's about the going rate for a PP Mustang with auto. I haven't seen many huge drops on new Mustangs to be honest, seems like dealers are banking on them to offset some losses since it's almost summer and people are looking at sports cars again.

They have room to come down. The rebates add up pretty well but you can't get 0% financing with rebates, it's one or the other. When I bought last month, a couple of the dealers had raised prices on units I was interested in compared to March. Weird, but maybe they thought let Ford eat it with incentives.

Is it possible that all the 2020 Mustangs have been delivered, That the 2021 Mustang maybe delayed? So dealers are thinking that the Mustangs they have need to last untill maybe October or later.
Betting on someone will buy because all the others were be given away now. So they at least will have stock. Ford may not even do 2021 right away if there are still a lot left on the lots when they start back up production.

They won’t lower the price. I tried to get a 2019 last week...they wanted 46k and didn’t want to negotiate. I was hoping to lowered down to 42-43k.

2 days later, it was gone from the lot.

I want a fully loaded PP1/MR car, which are hard as hell to find, so reluctantly looking at Bullitts, also leftover 2019s. Found one with 8 miles $11K+ off MSRP ($40,840+$250 doc fee). I might offer $40K out the door (plus my state TTL), and see what happens. And it's supposedly some kind of 'special' car. Ha ha (I haven't even seen that movie. Lol). Maybe because it's black, and not green. Who knows. But that tells you those guys can go a lot lower than that. I've seen 2020s discounted 5 grand. Find one, and ask that dealer to match them and see what happens. Look at autotrader; lots of them. That's what I plan to do with a local dealer that has FOUR freaking 2019 Bullitts, but it's the worst dealer, so doubt they'll play ball. If not, I'll get it from out of town yet again. Not going to give away my hard earned money. Good luck.

There's dealers here pricing Bullitts 5k-7k over MSRP! Not selling though. Just crazy and even with 2019's still on the lot they act like that's the going rate. When I brought up how many 2019's they still had on the lot, one BS'd me "oh they'll sell". You just can't believe one single thing a salesman tells you, sad.

A black Bullitt is pretty unique. Not many out there.

I hear you; my local dealers are the same. I'll go on Saturday, but I'm 99% convinced there will not be a deal (not even close). But will give it a try. I think you're correct on a black Bullitt, although what I don't like is you still get green stitching with those. Oh well. Sounds like both of us will end up buying out of town. Will start pricing shipping tomorrow, to have some numbers to crunch. Good luck.

There are not many deals because ford is not producing cars. Because of that, there’s not an excess of supply, so they will keep the prices high.

Unless Ford start production soon and people stop buying cars, they won’t decrease prices.

I faced the same problems with dealers in El Paso when I was looking for a ZL1. I lived there 2007-2012. I have bought my last three cars at least 500 miles from home, with the farthest being over 1700 miles away. Have to go where there is competition and incentive for the dealer to want to move cars.

I ran into this with my search. I found a 19, they were selling as new with 8K miles on it, Base PP1 auto for sticker. Locally everyone thought they were the end all be all on Mustang Sales.Sticker is the price.... etc F150 they will deal on, significantly, not a Mustang. "We only have 1 GT with the auto on the lot. It has every option Ford has, in Black and we'll let if go for MSRP"....Repeat ad nauseum

My CDO cannot handle another Black vehicle

While getting resigned to flying across the country for a car. I found almost exactly what I was looking on a lot 2 hours away. Apparently I missed it on my 1st set of searches. They had the car since Sept as a special order, it had 14 miles on it. They seamed willing to deal. Set up an appt to look at it. I liked the color in person much better than online pics of it. Wife loved it. Spent all day on it. I had originally planned on looking and thinking about it. Got to the point I was done and we were getting ready to go, They played the hold onto the keys game. We need a bingo card for the sales games. That was when we finally got everything hammered out.

The Drive home was very fun

Yup, green stitching on a black on black car seems questionable. I guess you could get green mud flaps to set it off. Maybe add a green stripe? On second thought, nevermind.

Congratulations! Most satisfying when you get what you were looking for. I had one sold out from under me after 4 days of negotiation. Then I got lucky and found one at a different dealer even more suited to me that was in transit. Negotiated and agreed on price before they even received it.

Well.. I got my 19 PP1 401A car with active exhaust and the B&O stereo for around 44k last fall. 401A and active ex was a must for me though. I did buy mine in NC... There are so many down that way and way cheaper than here in the midwest.
