Started my car up and noticed a slapping sound that wasn't present the day before. Drove around for a while and sound remains. I recorded a short video after I got home. What is this?

I tightened down everything that had a bolt and it ended up being the crank pulley making the sound. It was fine until a spirited drive and now the sound has returned. Could something be wrong with my crank pulley? There's only 4800 miles on it.

I would definitely take into the dealership . Have them inspect it and replace it.

I'd be more than surprised if they agreed to replace anything since there's a supercharger on it.

Maybe take the pro charger off first ? If not hopefully the price is not to bad for a replacement and do it yourself .

I think I remember the 2020's 5 liter cars had two different balancers depending on when it was built. Call Procharger, perhaps you have the incorrect pulley setup. I for sure wouldn't drive it until you sort that out.

I was at a performance shop in Kansas City back in March and the owner was showing me around the shop. He told me that a few guys had come to him with broken cranks in their Coyotes. He went on to say that it happens because people don’t seat the new crank pulley correctly.

3 of my cam locks sheared off of the Procharger pulley. The sound would come and go. I swapped to a ATI balancer. It doesn’t sound like mine did but you never know.

Are you talking about the bolt that holds the harmonic balancer on or the cam bolts for the procharger pulley? Maybe try a stud for the balancer and locktite on all the bolts.

It's the bolt that holds the crank pulley to the crank shaft. It is vibrating loose while driving, most especially if I go past 3500rpm and enter boost. It needs to be tightened down after every drive or it keeps getting worse.

Maybe try a different bolt? I'm not sure what the shop put in there as I was on 7/12s for 3 months and couldn't do the install myself.
