I have a 2020 pp1, I recently ordered a pro charger tuner kit with the 8 rib system but for some reason the pulley pro charger sent won’t fit has anyone had this problem before? It came in a bag specifically labeled for a 2020 crank pulley kit for mustang gt but doesn’t seem to fit.

No personal experience but the shop that works on my car has this issue on a 2020 also. Crank pulley had to be machined. What does Procharger have to say?

Cam lockouts don’t seem long enough.

Pro charger is saying Ford changed the pulley on the 2020’s & they’re probably going to need me to send in my crank pulley for precise measurements.

I have a 2020 GT PP1 with the stage 2 p1x kit. My shop had to machine the pulley as well they said they tried everything to get it to fit but settled with the machine method. I was hesitant at first but everything seems to be working well, I’ve had the kit on two months now and daily drive the car.

hopefully procharger can get a fix out for the 2020+ cars.

I’ll take that into consideration, I’d really like not to but if that’s what everyone is doing we might just have to.

There was a small change that effected our crank pulley. Our tech guys are ON it, and machine shop is fired up to make changes to existing pullies and or to have new units shipped out.

If anyone has an issue, just call 913-338-2886 and the tech guys can get you handled ASAP.

Took care of it, they were extremely helpful. Thank you, they’re shipping me a new one.

I have the exact same issue, except I mounted mine approximately 1500 miles ago and only after the crank bolt coming loose 3xs I've realized I have the wrong pulley also.

Did you get a different serial number pulley once replaced? And was the new pulley a 7.65in vs the old 8in?

Thank you in advance.

Get in contact with pro charger, they will send you out a new machined one, the snout needs to be machined slightly to fit correctly. Yes it’s the same size 7.65

[/QUOTE.

Ok thank you much brother. Mine is an 8in and doesn't fit on the snout well. Which I am assuming why it is coming loose. I'm running the Procharger tune also... I assume for the 7.65 - but Ive been running the 8. Wondering what I've been missing out on, I think it will be slightly less boost with the 7.65 vs the 8. Just hope nothing went south running that tune with the wrong pulley.

Personally I would never own a procharger for the simple fact of the belt pulling on the tip of the crank. Belt slip oh lets make it tighter. But......Procharger seems to be a standup company that takes care of its customers. I don't remember reading about bad customer service. I bought a Vortech years ago because its belt replaces the stock belt. Which has less leverage on the crank tip.

Procharger makes a crank support for stage 2 kits, and the HO kit uses the stock serpentine belt.
